I don't understand why Ozzie just doesn't try a hit-and-run every time we have someone not named Konerko or AJP on base. There's nothing to lose, as the likely outcome is a DP if he doesn't.

Yes, Quentin has looked awful. Really has no chance at the plate. As for AJP, him and Pierre are going to break a record for ground outs to the right side. I say this all the time, but this has got to be AJ's last year with the Sox.
