  1. Actually looks like Dye's plan was to hit it to right.
  2. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Jul 28, 2009 -> 12:12 AM) Gomez got nailed in the face lol. You got your emotions in check tonight, as I know you hate playing in Minnesota?
  3. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Jul 27, 2009 -> 12:50 AM) Not that I don't think its true, because I've been saying a Rose/Wade backcourt isn't optimal for a while now, but how do you know this? My dad runs into Wade's father and only family members once in a while in the South Suburbs
  4. HUGE f***ING WIN! Great job Clayton, PK, Beckham
  5. QUOTE (beckham15 @ Jul 27, 2009 -> 03:41 AM) anyone know when the last 1-2-3 ninth was for the sox? Did Buehrle have a perfect 9th on Thursday?
  6. The last 6 days have been some of the most stressful I can remember relating to Sox games. Please let this be somewhat easy.
  7. Ozzie better not put him out there for the 9th.
  8. Don't forget that Colon will be facing the Twins next start. Remember how well that went last time?
  9. Ozzie is opening himself up to a lot of criticism if he removes Richard from rotation and Colon gets rocked in his next few starts.
  10. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Jul 27, 2009 -> 02:29 AM) CRIAA? Games like this that make me happy we didn't trade him and Hudson for Peavy and his 20 million dollar price tag in 2012.
  11. Wow, 96 mph this late in the game. Just a fantastic start by Clayton tonight!
  12. I'm all for Beckham to be batting 3rd when we travel to Minnesota tomorrow.
  13. At least he didn't hit into a double play.
  14. QUOTE (jphat007 @ Jul 27, 2009 -> 03:17 AM) 3 for 25 with RISP this series. Awesome. And it's not like we were good with RISP against Tampa.
  15. That was an efficient inning!
  16. PK pulled off that meatball so badly. Execution continues to be just disgusting.
  17. QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Jul 27, 2009 -> 02:53 AM) The game just had an awful vibe, I posted in the 7th inning that I felt there was no way the Sox were going to win that game 3-2. I feel good about tonight. Can't we just get a freaking cheap hit with RISP late in the game to tack on an insurance run?
  18. QUOTE (beautox @ Jul 27, 2009 -> 01:52 AM) Nice work Richard! sox fans just need to give this kid time to develop at the major league level. I think 99 pct of us want him in the rotation over Bartolo
  19. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jul 27, 2009 -> 01:51 AM) Richard will be good in the BP. I have no idea how lefties hit him.
  20. QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Jul 27, 2009 -> 01:51 AM) I felt awful about yesterday, even with the 3-2 lead. I feel like Clayton is going to get out of this. Damn you for yesterday, and praise you for that one!
  21. So Jermaine has 6 hits to right all season?
  22. Ozzie might want to get Pena up in the bullpen, as this could be a tough inning for Richard.
  23. QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Jul 27, 2009 -> 02:42 AM) Thats the type of situation where Walker really has an important job. Spending extra time with Carlos is something that obviously is needed(and I'm sure is happening on a daily basis.) All season, he just hasn't looked comfortable. Maybe it's a mental thing and he's afraid to bend his wrist too much on his swing?
  24. Damn, we just can't get that hit with RISP after the 5th inning. If it wasn't for B.J. Upton, I wouldn't even want to know how poorly we've hit with RISP from the 6th inning on over the last few weeks.
