Here's how you know Swisher sucked last year....we had two play-in games to make the playoffs, and he could only find the field as a defensive replacement.

Betemit has a ton of power, and with his opposite field power, LA and NYY weren't exactly places he could put up huge numbers. A few years ago, he had ridiuclous ph numbers.

Betemit was amazing in baseball video games like 5 years ago when coming up with the Braves.

Back to the actual trade and the ramifications, I actually hope KW holds on to Vazquez and focuses on trading for a CF and signing a 2b/SS. I'd be ok with Fields/Betemit at 3rd base.
