  1. She must appreciate how much the team blows tonight.
  2. QUOTE (whitesoxbrian @ Jul 5, 2008 -> 01:59 AM) If they score here, which as like a 99.9999999% chance of doing so, I think it's safe to call this a day. Ballgame...just a terrible effort all around tonight. Wise throws to the wrong base. Maybe it's time we move Crede down in the lineup, as there's no reason to have him hitting behind CQ, Dye, and Thome.
  3. Masset in to let this game get out of hand. I still don't trust him out of the pen, with his WHIP over 1.50
  4. It's the curse of Juan Uribe!
  5. Sox just can't get a clutch hit this series to save their life. Swisher sure makes hitting seem difficult a lot of the time.
  6. f***, a fantastic play by their SS. Crede fails to deliver yet again.
  7. Just hit a homer and make us happier Crede.
  8. QUOTE (bmags @ Jul 5, 2008 -> 12:46 AM) It's like you guys are surprised by this. We've been good one week, bad another for 2 months. It feels as if the Twins have been great for 2 months now.
  9. QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Jul 5, 2008 -> 12:44 AM) Our on again/off again offense is off again. Hopefully they can figure out how to hit again soon. OC is such a catalyst. Also, I'll be happy if we don't play for one run in the 5th inning ever again.
  10. Dotel in? Very strange, seems like a better spot for Russell or Masset.
  11. QUOTE (Brian @ Jul 5, 2008 -> 01:39 AM) Lucky they don't have about 4 more runs. I'd just like to forget about this game and these uniforms. Indians are rallying.
  12. 4-1 A's now...just a mediocre performance by Buehrle. Mark Ellis has looked horrible this series, I'm not sure why you put him on.
  13. Well that was just terrible. He was too worried about the runner on first, and laid a cookie in there for the #9 hitter. Of course, if Dye wasn't running in quick sand, Gonzalez never reaches base. This is beginning to remind me of the A's series in 2005 prior to the ASB.
  14. These hitters continue to be baffled by Blanton's offspeed stuff. At least we gave up the first out via bunt.
  15. Why in the hell are we bunting to give up the first out with the #9 and struggling #1 hitter coming up?
  16. Crede continues to freaking suck.
  17. That a boy Thome. Nice hustle by CQ.
  18. Huge batter here in Ellis....2 runs is doable
  19. QUOTE (tommy @ Jul 5, 2008 -> 12:59 AM) Mark Buehrle your Sox pitcher of the month June, unfortunately it's July. I can't believe no one has gone out there and told him to stop overthrowing. From the first batter tonight, you could tell he was throwing TOO hard.
  20. Twins up 5-2 after Delmon Young hits a 3 run homer.
  21. QUOTE (Brian @ Jul 5, 2008 -> 12:57 AM) Now Buehrle is getting smacked with the pitches up. Only a matter of time. Can we never wear these jerseys again? We look like the Padres....and their horrible offense.
  22. Well, Buehrle blows tonight. We're lucky it's not 5 or 6 to nothing. Go Indians.
  23. QUOTE (Brian @ Jul 4, 2008 -> 11:55 PM) Ugh, keep the ball down on Cust, please. Why? He's one of the best low fastball hitters in the game. Just a horrendous pitch call.
  24. Way to throw Cust a low fastball. I guess they missed the scouting report that was on here. This team is flat as hell tonight.
  25. Blanton has looked great so far...and Buehrle, not so much. Hopefully it's like last night where the cruising pitcher loses.
