On pace for Trout vs Ohtani

I think he sacrificed the health of his shoulder by altering his mechanics so drastically a few years ago

He was missing bats to start last season also, but the change up just ended up not being nearly as effective with mediocre fastball velocity

Don’t worry, it will be something else after opening week. He will play through it at 60 pct speed and with bad swings, but we will have to read about how durable he is.
