Quite a large zone he could pitch to when you compare the Konerko and Fields homer.

QUOTE(29thandPoplar @ Jun 22, 2007 -> 10:09 PM) Maybe you should quit your constant spinning and fess up when you're called out. Just an idea. You're talking to the wrong person if you think I'm afraid of sticking up for what I believe in. You're wrong on this one when it comes to how I think about Hendry.

QUOTE(29thandPoplar @ Jun 22, 2007 -> 10:07 PM) No it wasn't. Wow can you spin. Your post had Linebrink in the Cubs bullpen, you said it gave them 5 quality righthanders. I qouted it because you reacted first, then got the truth on the trade later. Did you not notice me also saying that they severely downgraded their catching position? Good grief, if you have such a problem with what I say, just put me on ignore. You weren't around during the offseason when I was ripping on Hendry.

QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Jun 22, 2007 -> 10:02 PM) A healthy Tampa Bay? I'm not doubting you, and I know I responded to that post, but I more had in mind a post you had in the Barrett trade thread about Hendry usually doing well in trades. Did you notice that Rocco is hurt again? He's out another two months.

Did you notice how I said underneath that Linebrink is nothing special? The Pierre trade from last year isn't ridiculed enough.

QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Jun 22, 2007 -> 09:59 PM) Gosh damn, sometimes it seems like you really just like to suck off the Cubs and Hendry. I'm not sayin'.... I'm just sayin'... You won't find a faster defensive outfield than Soriano, Pie, and Pagan. Please list one that is faster.

QUOTE(diegotony06 @ Jun 22, 2007 -> 09:58 PM) I don't think you could get anyone for him now. You really have to love him saying he thinks his quad might burst any play.

Was Buehrle's pitch count high?

White Sox vs. Cubs, 6/22/07 (L)
Our lack of speed, and their amazing speed in the outfield, cost us that inning.

And now he hits one....thanks ump!

Just looked at the numbers....and ARam was better than Crede in every offensive category, and he almost doubled his walk totals.

Erstad injured
I feel bad for Erstad. He busted his ass to get in shape this offseason, and then he hurts himself on 2 out of 3 plays. I'm not going to let the idiots running this team and Hawk's crush on Erstad make me not appreciate him.

QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jun 22, 2007 -> 09:40 PM) I'll sacrifice the 10 home runs for the defense Joe Plays. (And Joe's numbers would still have been better if his back hadn't ruined his September) Ramirez's defense is incredibly underrated. I watch both teams play about 150 times a year, and I honestly don't think there's much of a difference at all.

This is such a pathetic team to watch. It's to the point where everyone should be on the market.

QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jun 22, 2007 -> 09:37 PM) I'd still take the Crede of last year over Ramirez. The question of course is whether we'll ever see that Crede again (and the odds aren't good). I'll take the guy who nearly hit 40 homers and had over 110 RBI.
-
White Sox vs. Cubs, 6/22/07 (L)
Remember the idiots who thought Crede was better than ARam?

QUOTE(Brian @ Jun 22, 2007 -> 09:28 PM) Hurry back, Pods, just so I don't have to watch Mackowiak swing at flies over his head. You know what the sad thing is with Pods....it's his call on when he gets brought up again, and he's yet to tell them that he's ready. I don't know about you, but if I saw my team losing game after game, I'd do everything in my power to return ASAP. It's not like another week or so is going to magically make Podsednik's speed return.

Good swing by Fields. This is the inning that makes the game go from close to a 4 run deficit.

QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Jun 22, 2007 -> 09:27 PM) 10 strikeouts. This is sad. This team is so heartless.

Maybe the Erstad injury will finally make these fools realize that waiting for Erstad/Pods to return at 100 pct is like thinking Barbaro was going to be able to race again.

Maybe Some Great News
Get rid of both Farmer and Singleton. Singleton is boring as hell, and Farmer is the most arrogant ass I've ever heard.

AJ's trying to make this a 3-2 game.
