9/1 GT, Sox vs Astros, 7:10. September Begins, How Will it End?
He didn’t signal foul after it happened
-
Tommy Pham is back
For example, in a couple of weeks at Cleveland, it’s projected the Sox will face two LHP

Literally didn’t see a single quote about it

Psycho Sam
Again, kudos to him for trying, but he’s been awful out there

Don’t disagree, would say the same for the other starting outfielders
-
Tommy Pham is back
That was based on his sister tweeting about it being possible. Would also say that no one outside the organization has any clue what they’re doing. A lot of the well known reporters thought for sure Thorpe would be up this week.

He might be running out of a position to play. If Bonemer is solid in CF, Peters moves to LF.

Tommy Pham is back
FWIW next scheduled LHP is 9/11 vs Cardinals. Pham leading off would be the worse thing to ever happen on that day (yes, sarcasm)

Tommy Pham is back
You really don’t think he’s not going to be starting in a corner OF spot against LHP? I wouldn’t call that the 28th man. And yes, they should have known at the deadline that hitting LHP with their outfield was a huge issue. I wouldn’t be shocked if he’s batting leadoff against LHP next time they face one (which doesn’t look for a long time actually)

Tommy Pham is back
It’s strange because they supposedly loved him prior to 2025. I think this is more Venable adores Pham.
-
Tommy Pham is back
Sure, and that’s why they needed another corner outfielder at the deadline.

Tommy Pham is back
I don’t think he’s a bad clubhouse guy. I do wonder how the fit will be on a team that is unserious in the dugout in a good way. I’m not really worried though, Vasil has the power of the wand

I spy Jo Adell

Tommy Pham is back
Biggest issue I have is that he’s just not good anymore. Hate this habit of acquiring players who are having terrible seasons and putting them into a pennant race.
-
Tommy Pham is back
Potentially yes, as if they make the postseason, they’re possibly going to see a lot of LHP (Yankees, Red Sox, Guardians, Orioles)

Tommy Pham is back
By sub do you mean PH or being a platoon guy?
-
9/1 Games
Yep, outside of looking to see how Bonemer did, I don’t think I’ve ever been less interested in how the minor leaguers are doing. That’s fine though, futuresox still does a great job of covering it all.

Tommy Pham is back
He’s replacing one of the starters vs LHP (which needs to happen)

8/31 7:10 CDT: Sox At Trashcan Bangers
Antonacci now is at -11.2 fWAR defensively (only behind Torkelson) and -7 OAA. I give him credit for trying out there, but I don’t think this is a long term solution.

Orioles win again as Cowser with one of the best defensive plays you will ever see
-
Tommy Pham is back
Yep, said it was one of his favorite players
-
Tommy Pham is back
He’s a Braden or Ant replacement vs LHP

I’ve said this before, but Taylor just doesn’t look like a starter to me. Leave him in this role, he’s so damn valuable. How about trading Braden and more for a starter and signing Seiya?

It's important to remember that Castillo and Doyle are also longer term projects. They weren't just for this season.
can’t wait to see these amazing changes for Doyle. He looks like a DFA candidate to me.

Really wish they tried Bonemer in CF earlier in the year in AA.
