  1. 3-1 game. Contreras needs to make a good pitch to Morneau, or the game will be tied. That blown opportunity really hurts last inning.
  2. Great sequence by Contreras. No fastballs to Jones here on the inner half.
  3. QUOTE(whitesoxfan99 @ Sep 24, 2005 -> 01:41 AM) Contreras has been on fire lately and the Twins have AAAA lineup We're facing the meat of their order though.
  4. QUOTE(whitesoxfan99 @ Sep 24, 2005 -> 01:41 AM) We should just squeeze bunt with a runner on 3rd and less than two outs from now on I'm not a fan of first pitch swinging normally, but our hitters keep taking a great pitch to hit for a strike. Then, they find themselves down in the count after they foul off the next pitch.
  5. Someone give me some optimism for this inning. I think Twins will put up a few runs.
  6. Another else find it ironic that this team can't even hit a "sac" fly now?
  7. Crede took a tremendous 1-0 pitch to hit right down the plate, and then swings through two straight high, mediocre fastballs.
  8. This is just pathetic. Contreras has a tough inning here, as the Twins just had the momentum swing back into their favor.
  9. This team has absolutely no focus with RISP now. That was a sad AB by Crede.
  10. QUOTE(jphat007 @ Sep 24, 2005 -> 01:31 AM) Uribe 4 for his last 31. Carl 4 for his last 310
  11. QUOTE(CYGarland @ Sep 24, 2005 -> 01:29 AM) Thats a good idea. We obviously dont have a #3 hitter, so why not use whoever's hot at the time?? I'm still very confused why he's given Rowand and AJP a try at replacing Everett, but he still hasn't let Dye try. Hell, with all the struggles this team has had on offense, even Iguchi batting 3rd wouldn't be a bad idea. We can no longer play the way we used to with Iguchi trying to get Pods to 3rd base w/less than 2 outs because Pods is struggling getting to 2nd base.
  12. Excellent job by Iguchi on a very speedy batter!!
  13. Time for Contreras to buckle down. Tyner's a very big batter in this game, as you want to keep the tying run from getting to the plate.
  14. QUOTE(CYGarland @ Sep 24, 2005 -> 01:22 AM) Why is AJ batting 3rd again? :puke He's not taking very good swings, is he? AJ, Everett, Iguchi, and Rowand are definitely cold. I don't even fault Ozzie for this.
  15. Pods gave it a try, but just not far enough. That looked gone off the bat.
  16. Great job so far by Contreras. And every other game matters in regards to the Sox. What did the Sox do to not deserve any other help from teams?
  17. Boston leads 4-3 now. Thanks Tejada.
  18. 3-2 Orioles after Tejada makes a terrible throw on a routine grounder by Manny.
  19. Nice f***ing throw Tejada...that sucked.
  20. QUOTE(whitesoxfan99 @ Sep 24, 2005 -> 12:57 AM) Indians take the lead 2-1 in the 3rd You actually think Lima will be able to keep that offense down?
