SOX vs. Angels 5-30-05
Every other person on the Sox would have swung at that 2-2 change, especially after just crushing a fastball foul. We need to score more than one run here.

Craig Biggio would get hit by Washburn every AB.

Will Ozzie let Frank bunt here? Just kidding.

QUOTE(TheBlackSox8 @ May 30, 2005 -> 08:46 PM) iguchi has dropped his average into the .290's... Iguchi has been a pleasant surprise, but it was pretty clear that he wasn't going to stay in the .330s for long. He was definitely find every single hole on the field, and had more seeing-eyed hits than anyone this side of Lew Ford. Hopefully he'll continue playing solid baseball though.

Buehrle pitches over the mistake. Well done. Now, hopefully Pods can get things back on track.

QUOTE(Jabroni @ May 30, 2005 -> 08:42 PM) Great play by Iguchi... Horrible play by Pausly. Look at that hop. It came up pretty high on PK. No excuse for Iguchi to throw that in the dirt.

QUOTE(Tadahito15 @ May 30, 2005 -> 08:41 PM) Kenny HAS to see how much Crede's bat is hurting us right now. He is hopefully working on bringing in a GOOD 3rd basemen. Scoring one run with bases loaded with no outs isnt good either, but thats not completely Crede's fault. Yeah, of all the times for Widger to look human, that was bad timing. Iguchi has been making some poor throws lately, as that error was totally unacceptable.

QUOTE(Jabroni @ May 30, 2005 -> 08:41 PM) But he still has a lot of trade value! :headshake He doesn't have any value at all. You know this, but I can't believe the argument some were making yesterday. He's arb eligible after this year, which means he'll no longer be cheap.

The worst thing is that the way Crede hit that ball, it was his best chance for a hit. A blooper into the outfield is about Crede's biggest weapon right now.

QUOTE(Jabroni @ May 30, 2005 -> 08:39 PM) God, can Crede suck any more? Yet, some dumbasses on this board think because he's young and plays good defense, we should stick with him. It's like some people don't watch the games?

QUOTE(Jabroni @ May 30, 2005 -> 08:38 PM) Deep sac fly by Uribe scores a run. I thought it was a grand slam. So did I, especially with Uribe's actions after he hit it.

You f***ing suck Crede

SOX vs. Angels 5-30-05
Good job Uribe, at least we scored one. I can't believe they didnt throw him an offspeed pitch.
-
SOX vs. Angels 5-30-05
With 2 strikes, all he has to do is throw an offspeed pitch, and Uribe with K easily.

HIT THE f***ING FAST BALL!

Worst AB of the season for Widger there. I have a bad feeling we're not scoring this inning.

QUOTE(fathom @ May 30, 2005 -> 08:23 PM) 2nd inning off to bad start. Buehrle just walked Molina, who's walked 4 times this season coming into the AB. Good job by Buehrle to get out of the inning without allowing a run.

We've now scored in the first inning one time in the last 10 games. That's a huge difference from how we were jumping on teams earlier in the season.

All I know is this......Widger better be playing!

ATTENTION
Someone needs to tell the Rangers to get off the roids then. With the way they jacked the ball around the park this week, it makes you wonder how any pitcher is able to keep them down when they're home.

ATTENTION
QUOTE(ChiSoxFan @ May 30, 2005 -> 12:55 AM) *Ahem*. Don't know your White Sox history, eh? What was the nickname of that 1906 group? And for the record, 4 guys in that lineup were over .245. Great, we're comparing our offense with that of a dead ball era offense.
-
Our bullpen mess...
Shingo is done with. Even in the innings lately where he didn't allow runs, which helped lower his ERA, he was barely surviving. He's definitely not someone we can count on to get an out.

Let's face it
QUOTE(I-HATE-CREDE @ May 29, 2005 -> 09:37 PM) This offense is hampered with way too many automatic outs, not least of which is Joe Crede. When is this experiment going to end? The man has a career OBP of .302. I think Paco Martin's was higher, what is he up to these days? That's the best (and some might say only) point you've made on this site so far.
