he has bone chips inside his ankle or so says the xray.....i posted somewhere that he should have had the surgery before the break and suck up some time when we were not playing....the guy is a freakin beast a few weeks in a boot arnt gonna make the chips go away.....time to start ranting about picking up a DH if borch doesnt put up frank numbers pretty quick hahaha what did it say 4-6 weeks, just like that maggs injury....we wont see him for awhile i am sad :headshake

yea the church parking lot right behind the scoreboard is the best parking there is, and is the best place to tailgate I HIGHLY recomend it.... aslo TONY whereabouts in wheaton do you live....i am from warrenville....don't tell me your a north kid ha

well guys I designed that shirt..... that is my site... i know i have cubs stuff on it too and it made me feel like s*** but you have to be unbiased in the business world....as of now i am working a 3rd shift job at a factory to make some funds for the school year so the website is no where near finished NO WHERE. I also know that the prices are a little steep but for any of you in the soxtalk crowd i will sell you any shirt for 10 bones plus shipping charges 3-5 bucks. If you got any ideas for shirts tell me about them and i can make up some designs, i got one in the works now that is gonna be something like "STRETCH" on the front then "YOU CAN PUT IT ON THE BOARD" on the back but again I work all night and sleep all day then eat and do it all over again so it takes a little time. acctually there is one way that i would like this trade.....if the yankees didn't get him....if they do, good bye world series hopes I would really really REALLY rather him stay in Arizona.....that would be a better situation for us then him going on the block and the yankees buying him think about it

I just saw the top 10 all time home runs on ESPN, and i know i have seen it a million times but i never looked for this. Hank Aarons 715 is a thing of beauty....what a player.... he puts his head down and jogs around the bases. No hopping, no staring, no twirly ds while forgetting to touch the bases, just a man, a hit, and a jog........he was a player right there....i don't mind the staring, i have not been bashing C Lee or Jose or whoever else on the sox, it was just a very humbling moment when i watched it

i might have to eat my words and all you fans of this situation can definatly b**** me out if it happens....but I for one don't really like this..... YES we would have the best pitching in the majors, YES its a guarentee we would win the division but i dont even want to think about the sacrafices that would be made for this to happen.....our offense would go from a B+ to a (D+/C -) in a flash....every person we can't wait to see play in years to come would be gone.....and unless Jerry starts selling players kidneys and plasters advertisments on everything including the bases we can say goodbye to shingo, maggs and anyone else we need to resign for next season.....we need one more quality pitcher nothing too fancy just someone who can last 7 innings who isnt a headcase....
