  2. Sox minor league farm club director Allen Regiear:
  3. Adam Russell gives up a couple singles and walks one of which scores a run tying the game at 2.
  4. People of interest in the Rockies game: Chris Getz in at 2B and makes an excellent defensive play ranging to his right on the first pitch of the inning. The big mother f***er Adam Russell is in to pitch. HUGE.
  5. QUOTE(Jimbo @ Mar 1, 2007 -> 03:27 PM) NOT THE OPPOSITE WAY!! I have no idea what you're talking about. Crazy person.
  6. And Eduardo Perez fires one off the left center field wall for a double, nice piece of hitting there.
  7. QUOTE(shawnhillegas @ Mar 1, 2007 -> 03:26 PM) Kalapse jinxed himself I like it.
  8. And Crede blasts one out over the left field wall putting the Sox up 2-1. PURE STRENGTH
  9. The Rockies are currently 1 hitting the Sox. The only hit was an infield single by Sweeney in the first. And to be honest they really haven't come close to getting another hit outside of the shot Tulow robbed Pablo on. And as I type this Sweeney picks up a solid single into right.
  10. Boone Logan relieves Haeger and has a 1-2-3 inning. Boone is unstoppable.
  11. Eduardo Perez draws a walk. Guillen is at the Sox/Rockies game. The announcers are doing a bit of slurping. Spivey just lined one off the pitcher's forehead, it rolled back to the catcher and he throws out Junior at 1B. The pitcher is OK. Wiki grounds out on the first pitch to end the inning.
  12. QUOTE(Jimbo @ Mar 1, 2007 -> 02:53 PM) Inning ending duoble play for Chuck After allowing a double into right center and a single up the middle to Helton. Matt Holliday hit into the DP.
  13. Haeger in to pitch. Gets ahead of Steve Finley 0-2, Finley fights off a few works the count to 2-2 and is then caught looking on a high knuckler. Very nice Chuck.
  14. Someone got on base somehow, I really didn't see. Aaron Cunningham hits into a fielders choice. Pablo scolds one up the middle by Tulow makes a great diving catch robbing him of a singe. Cunningham steals second, Ianetta throws the ball into CF, Cunningham to 2B. Good jump and acceleration from Cunningham. Sweeney drives one into LF but it's caught for the final out of the inning.
  15. Heath Phillips makes a TERRIBLE throw to first on a pickoff attempt, Miller makes third on the error. Heath forces a grounder to end the inning.
  16. Terrero works the count to 2-2 but then grounds out to Jeff Francis. The Rockies Broadcast thinks it's a good idea to show a seemingly nude 70-80 year old man in the bleachers. HORRAY FOR OLD MAN BOOBS!!! Heath retires the first 2 hitters of the inning including a weak grounder from Tulow (top Rockies prospect) but allows a shot off the left center field wall to Chris Ianetta (AAA catcher). Matt Miller, pinch hitting for Jeff Francis lines a single into center scoring Ianetta. 1-0 ROCKIES
  17. Heath Phillips allows a single baserunner but retires the rest of this mainly intact Rockies lineup. Spivey and Wiki go down quick.
  18. The other game is on MLB.tv right now. Ozuna hit a slow grounder to Tulowiski or whatever the hell his name is and was thrown out by a step. Sweeney hit a chopper up the middle to Tulow and also was thrown out by a step, got out of the box incredibly quick. Crede picks up an infield single. Eduardo Perez grounds out to 3B on the first pitch.
  19. QUOTE(longshot7 @ Feb 28, 2007 -> 04:28 PM) He's a good meat-n-potatoes North Dakota kind of guy, and definitely a good teammate. As long as we don't expect too much of him - he's not a very good hitter at this point in his career - he'll be fine. Too late.
  20. I predict Bobby Jenks' right arm falls off sometime before the start of the 2009 season. I really don't think it can hold up for much longer, I hope I'm wrong but I really believe this to be the case.
  21. QUOTE(jphat007 @ Feb 28, 2007 -> 09:44 AM) FWIW, I don't think today's game is on MLB.tv. Tomorrow's game looks to be on mlb.tv but today is just gameday audio of the score. Good call, ESPN.com had it as an MLB.tv game but according to MLB.com it looks like only the Tigers/Mets and Twins/Red Sox games will be on MLB.tv today.
  22. QUOTE(Jimbo @ Feb 27, 2007 -> 11:27 PM) Will tomorrow's game on MLB.TV? yes
