  1. I think it was the right decision to play the infield back. You can't afford to have the ball get through a drawn in infield. You're chances of getting to a ball are much better with the infield back and in that situation you don't want a run to score but you can afford to have 1 run score compared to 2 runs. Oh yeah, on the whole walk vs a double thing, having a runner in scoring position to start off an innning is 1000X worse than having a runner on 1st, I don't give a s*** how they get on base.

    Are they real?

Odd how right next to the picture is a paid advertisement for Tyra Banks' show.
  3. QUOTE(SleepyWhiteSox @ Sep 21, 2005 -> 01:32 PM) Yeah, that and most of his theories were based on personal thoughts and experiences (or sometimes small sample sizes- the people he treated), and supposedly his mom was a milf...so my conclusion is that I don't see it working so well if your mom looks more like a mom than hot. She also supposedly loved him more than any of her other kids and showed more affection towards Sigmund. Also she was only 21 years old compared to his father who was 41 so that just kind of added to it. The guy was a sicko but a brilliant sicko.
  4. QUOTE(knightni @ Sep 21, 2005 -> 01:22 PM) And that is a hall pass for the latent incestual urges? Well, according to his theory all boys have the same urges. Can't say that I agree with him but the man was a hell of a thinker considering what he was on.
  5. QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Sep 21, 2005 -> 01:22 PM) For the most part...though Wundt established the first psychology laboratory in Leipzig. Yes Wilhelm Wundt established the first psych lab, but Freud was really the first to sit someone down in a chair turn his back to them and have them talk for an hour while he stared out a window. He was really the first professional Phychologist.
  6. QUOTE(knightni @ Sep 21, 2005 -> 01:18 PM) He wanted to have sex with his mom as well. :puke He also practically invented Psychology.
  7. Just for the record, when going strickly by sexiness Widger >> AJ.
  8. QUOTE(WSoxMatt @ Sep 21, 2005 -> 11:36 AM) Clearly AJ ran through Cora's rare stop sign... Looks like a fine in Kangaroo court to me!! That's not a stop sign, Cora's just getting out of the way. That ball was rolling down the left field line, no way Pierz could have been thrown out.
  9. I think it's best if the Rally Crede is not duplicated or altered in any way to incorporate any other players. The Rally Crede should remain the Rally Crede and continue to carry this team on it's back through the power that is Rally Crede.
  10. QUOTE(Middle Buffalo @ Sep 21, 2005 -> 12:58 AM) I don't see refresh anywhere. On your browser navigation bar.
  11. QUOTE(qwerty @ Sep 21, 2005 -> 12:20 AM) I have found guests in some of the strangest threads at about 1-6 in the morning. I am talking threads that are two years old. You're telling me you've never been on some strange message board at 3:15 in the morning that you don't belong to searching through some of the old threads that have long been forgotten by the regulars? Bull s***.
  12. Does the sheer number of people present in the park really matter if they're able to generate noise and electricity like that? I was at the Sox game 2 years ago when Frank hit his walk off agianst the Twins in Robbie and Carl's first game with the Sox. There was only around 20,000 people in the park but it was louder and more electric than any game I have ever been to. I was also at the 4 HR inning game Vs the Yankees this year and the noise generated by the crowd in that game doesn't even compare to what I experienced to years ago and the Yankee game had about 18,000 more people in attendance. Attendance numbers don't matter much when the people who are at the game are as pumped as that.
  13. I love that goatee. It makes him look studly.
  14. QUOTE(ceffa2000 @ Sep 20, 2005 -> 11:27 PM) Not a tech guy but I'm assuming that MYSPL is the language? I'm sure you guys will work things out. Just let us know if you need any help. You can donate to the site by clicking the button on the bottom of the screen.
  15. Who really cares? ESPN has long ignored the existence of the White Sox.
  16. QUOTE(ceffa2000 @ Sep 20, 2005 -> 11:04 PM) Hell f***ing yeah. I had to leave work (train departing) in the bottom of the ninth, 2 on, 2 out. I was hoping to God Arrow got a hit but what a f***ING HUGE SUPRISE WHEN I GOT HOME!!!!!!!! I would have never imagined Joe would hit the walkoff homer. Who pitched the 10th for us? PRAY TO THE GOD OF LEEETLE BROKEN FINGERS!!!!! Hermy went the 10th.
  17. QUOTE(Brian @ Sep 20, 2005 -> 11:00 PM) We can personally eliminate the Twins this weekend, right? The Twins are long done. They've been eliminated from the division already.
  18. What were the chances? This is just unbelievable.
  19. QUOTE(RibbieRubarb @ Sep 20, 2005 -> 10:53 PM) I also love those (on this board and other places)who, doomed us or called the season over, are now cheering and excited over this win. You can really hurt yourself jumping on and off a bangwagon...be careful! I love those choke avatars, they're just so cool and original.
  20. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Sep 20, 2005 -> 10:52 PM) WHAT IS THE SOONEST DATE WE CAN CLINCH? I'LL BE GOING SAT AND SUN... Sunday
