  1. QUOTE (JenksIsMyHero @ May 1, 2017 -> 01:36 PM) And guys like Mike Lombardi have asked around and can't find anyone that made those calls. So someone is lying somewhere. Lynch is not going to bury Pace, because he wants too fleece him again.
  2. Chicago Bears 1 (2). North Carolina QB Mitchell Trubisky 2 (45). Ashland TE Adam Shaheen 4 (112). Alabama S Eddie Jackson 4 (119). North Carolina A&T RB Tarik Cohen 5 (147). Kutztown OG Jordan Morgan Overview: The Bears’ extremely ill-advised, desperation-driven one-spot climb for Trubisky cost them pick Nos. 67, 111, and a 2018 third-rounder. At UNC, Trubisky spent two years backing up Marquise Williams, who couldn’t beat out “Joe Callahan” as a Packers camp arm last year. In round two, Chicago dropped from No. 36 to 45 to add Nos. 119, 197, and a 2018 fourth-rounder. They wasted No. 45 on D-2 Frankenstein lookalike Shaheen. Ballhawking safety Jackson was my favorite Bears pick, although Jackson enters the NFL with significant injury concerns, and moving up for him cost Chicago the No. 197 pick in exchange for just a five-spot climb. Fellow fourth-rounder Cohen is a fun guy to watch, but he has almost no chance to make an NFL offensive impact at 5-foot-7, 179. Remember Garrett Wolfe? 60% of the Bears’ draft came from sub-Division-1 schools. Ultimately, the class will pay off if Trubisky turns into a franchise quarterback. Yet there is absolutely no way 13 college starts provide enough evidence to suggest Trubisky is a good-probability bet. It’s more likely that this was the worst draft in the entire league. Grade: F Per Rotoworld........Bears get only F in NFC
  3. Hate to see this happen to Eaton hope he is 100% next year.
  4. Kizer is a buster too me, fits well in Cleveland scrap heap of QB's
  5. Bears selected Ashland TE Adam Shaheen with the No. 45 overall pick of the 2017 NFL draft . Shaheen (6’7/278) played college hoops at Pittsburgh-Johnstown in 2013 before walking onto Ashland’s football team and tallying a career 129-1,755-26 (13.6 YPR) receiving line, then turning pro as a redshirt junior. A terrific athlete for his size, Shaheen turned in 73rd-percentile SPARQ results with 4.79 speed before the draft. Shaheen was used extensively as a pass blocker at Ashland, dominating his lower-level competition as a true two-way tight end. Shaheen’s popular comparison among NFL scouts was Jason Witten. On tape, Shaheen exhibits a concerning lack of change-of-direction skills and is ultimately a big, stiff, straight-line athlete making a colossal jump in competition, albeit with more-than-adequate tools. Per Rotoworld DB's are going everywhere, but the Bears s***ty ass secondary.
  6. Bears trade down swap 2nd get a 4th and 6th this year and a 4th next year from Arizona.............not bad
  7. QUOTE (shipps @ Apr 27, 2017 -> 08:37 PM) You guys complain every year that they don't address the Qb position. They finally make a shrewd move to get one because if they didn't it's likely someone else was entertaining a trade with San Fran to get Trubisky, the guy Pace identifies as "the guy" and you all lose ur s*** over a couple third rounders. When you have 8 holes to fill those couple of 3rd rounders are important especially for a one year wonder.
  8. Browns trade #12 they were not in love with a QB
  9. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Apr 27, 2017 -> 08:20 PM) 2 Qb's in Top 1. Watson is pissed
  10. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Apr 27, 2017 -> 08:15 PM) Or how about was back up at UNC to Marquuse Willis who went undrafted. Basically bears picked a qb just to pick a qb. Now anything could happen, and he could become best qb ever, but his draft grade wasn't close to top 5 (arguably not even first round) and the bears bid against themselves. Bears bidding against themselves again just like with Glennon.
  11. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 27, 2017 -> 08:00 PM) Yep Pace and Fox are dead men walking anyways. Fox will want to play Glennon to save his job Can't see Fox surviving another 3-13 year. Pace is a complete amateur and got played by a first year GM Lynch.
  12. Bears traded up with the 49ers to select North Carolina QB Mitchell Trubisky with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2017 NFL draft. Stunning. Owners of the No. 3 pick, Chicago surrendered this year's Nos. 3, 67 and 111 selections and a 2018 third-rounder to move up one spot. It means they faced intense competition. Trubisky (6’2/222) sat behind 2016 Packers camp arm Marquise Williams his first two seasons at UNC before taking the starting reigns as a redshirt junior last season and leading the Tar Heels to an 8-5 mark with school records in passing yards (3,748) and touchdowns (30). A plus athlete with 4.67 speed, Trubisky added five rushing TDs and is a legitimate scrambling threat. On tape, Trubisky impresses as a tough competitor with a quick release, but he showed a tendency to get squeamish when pressured and made only 13 college starts. The small sample makes him a frightening prospect. Nevertheless, Trubisky looks the part of a potential mid-range NFL starter with Ryan Tannehill-level tools. He'll compete with Mike Glennon for the Bears' starting job. Per Rotoworld Glennon lame duck already
  13. Bears suck and draft a guy who will probably not play a down in 2017. 3-13 again so many holes.
  14. The Bears panic what a reach. Pace ass is on the line I hate this selection.
  15. Bears trade to 2nd pick. God dam the Bears paid a ransom to move 1 spot.............. Bears trade 3rd and 4th and a 3rd next year.
  16. I hope they pass on Jonathan Allen and his 2 bad shoulders.
