As shown on last night’s episode of RAW, Rusev got a lot of boos for kicking a “fan” who got in the ring as he was about to tear down the American flag. The fan, dressed like a soldier, was a plant hired by WWE. Those at the show have said that the solider wasn’t sitting ringside until before the Rusev segment, which is how WWE usually handles this kind of angle. The security guard who tried to hold him back before Rusev kicked him actually let him jump the barricade before he followed him. The soldier wasn’t wearing the correct Army uniform as the American flag was on the wrong sleeve.
