  1. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Dec 5, 2014 -> 01:17 PM) Big Ten having more eligible teams than tie-ins does not automatically leave Illinois out. There are invariably other conferences that can't fill all their bowl slots. I have been told by someone I trust, Illini have been told very high chance they are out depending on Ohio ST/Wis game. My family and I have been season ticket holders 40 years.
  2. According to Busted Open Radio, Sting’s performer’s contract with WWE is for a total of just six appearances. That appearance list includes the one at Survivor Series, meaning that he has five left. Obviously, one of those will be WrestleMania 31, so he will work four more dates leading up to the show.
  3. Looks like Illini will be the odd man out for bowl season down to PSU and Illini. NCAA making PSU eligible for this bowl season and they travel well all but dooms Illini. This speaks volumes about how the outside view Tim Becky Beck Beckman as coach. Beckman is a lousy coach. No bowl and stuck with Beckman and Banks another year will have Illini home attendance lowest is 30 years. Mike Thomas you reap what you sew.
  4. Cutler INT to end another game.
  5. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Dec 4, 2014 -> 09:26 PM) How does conte seem to get injured every game He is the tin man just put him on IR and end the Conte era.
  6. I hope Soldier Field is empty rest of the year!
  7. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 4, 2014 -> 09:17 PM) The longer this goes on, the more I wonder how you can justify bringing this coaching staff back. They find new ways to be embarrassing every game I just cannot see any coaches surviving this pile of crap! Scariest part is Trestman does not see any issues.
  8. Nobody can tell me there is not a better option than Conte out on the street. Man does he suck at his job.

Dam dropping like flies on SOA tonight!
  10. ESPN's Jerry Crasnick reports that the Dodgers have acquired Chris Heisey from the Reds via trade. CBS Sports' Jon Heyman says the Reds will receive Matt Magill in return. The Dodgers are already loaded with outfielders, so this could be the first of multiple moves for them. Heisey, who is in his second year of arbitration this offseason, batted .222/.265/.378 with eight homers over 299 plate appearances for the Reds in 2014. He'll back up at all three outfield spots. Source: Jerry Crasnick on Twitter Looks like Dodgers going to deal very soon.
  11. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Dec 2, 2014 -> 09:47 AM) Everyone thought that way about Bryan and Ziggler too. He'll work his way back up at some point, he's too talented not to. Hopefully he will, but VKM has no idea what to do with him and I do not see that changing anytime soon.
  12. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Dec 1, 2014 -> 10:34 PM) Vince putting Punk in his place and doing it with class. Punk just looks even more bitter than he ever was. I enjoyed the live podcast Austin did not give him all softball questions. Cesaro has hit the glass ceiling and he is toast .
  13. GM thing is beyond stupid .................2 years ago Hornswaggle was shown to be GM .........Rinse and repeat and it's sucked the first time.
  14. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Nov 30, 2014 -> 01:26 PM) I'm going to cry. Not only Beckman is back..........Tim Banks s keeping his job at DC. Mike Thomas is a joke. 6-6 was not good enough to keep Zook. 6-6 is good enough to keep Beckman, the only difference is he hired Beckman. Illinois schedule is very tough next year 4 wins will be a struggle.
  15. Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports reports that the potential trade that the Athletics are working on does not include right-hander Jeff Samardzija. Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reported that the A's are close to what was called a "very significant deal" and that Jeff Samardzija was likely to be included. They do appear to be on the verge of something significant though and are expected to receive multiple players back in return. Stay tuned as this story continue to evolve. 16. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Nov 28, 2014 -> 08:01 PM) Deal as in trade, or deal as in contract? Trade Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports that the Athletics are close to a "very significant deal" involving Jeff Samardzija. Slusser notes that the team would receive several pieces back in return, and that the A's are targeting hitters. The 29-year-old right-hander, who is set to hit free agency after the 2015 season, posted a terrific 2.99 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 202/43 K/BB ratio over 219 2/3 innings with the A's and Cubs in 2014. Stay tuned. per Rotoworld
