well that sucks.

9/2 SOX @ Cle 6:05 PM CDT - CSN
Ramirez and Cabrera should be the first two batters. Most are in agreeance here. I don't care who's first and who's second, they should be the top hitters with Uribe IN the starting lineup batting 9th.

QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Sep 2, 2008 -> 07:06 PM) That is why College sports are lame. Funny to think the Big hurt was also a TE in college. I would never have guessed him and Owens playing the same position at anything. lol yeah they kind of went opposite directions.

QUOTE (Kalapse @ Sep 2, 2008 -> 07:02 PM) He was actually listed at a TE. I can't imagine he got in the game much on blocking downs, he'd be killed. lol a TE??? I almost spit out my milk.

Does Ozzie feel that Owens unfairly didn't get a starting job because of his injury? There's no excuse for putting Owens in the lineup. I'm not an Anderson supporter, but he definately should've been starting tonight. 6-5 Jays!!!!!!!!!

QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Sep 2, 2008 -> 06:52 PM) Dye signing >>>>> Iguchi signing I'm never going to slam Iguchi because he was a good signing but Dye was a better signing. He's better than Royce Clayton was though.

QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Sep 2, 2008 -> 06:48 PM) btw, with JD's next Home Run he moves into a tie for 10th in White Sox history. Just thought that was interesting, especially since he'll tie Jose Valentin. How Jose Valentin is in 10th place is beyond my knowledge. I know he hit 20, 25 homers each year, but he was only hear for 5 years. Just shows how much times have changed with the home run.

QUOTE (Princess Dye @ Sep 2, 2008 -> 06:47 PM) It's great how all the anti-Crede people now get to wear the guise of having always been so pro-Juan When in reality they'll just turn on him later when he's cold b/c of their own personality types hey we're not supposed to comment about that, haha.

I can't believe I'm saying this like most, but Juan makes me feel better at 3rd.

Back to back homers for the Jays. 5-4.

5-1 Twins and threatning for more. Halladay should've been pitching this game if they wouldn't have messed around with their rotation.

It might come down to the Minnesota home series against us, chances are we're going to have to win that series, which I'm going to hate to watch.

3-0 Twins. I knew it'd suck playing Cleveland, they've been playing awesome the past few weeks.

Frank Done for the Season
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Sep 1, 2008 -> 04:45 PM) 1494 runs 2468 hits 495 doubles 1704 RBI .301 career average .419 career OBP .555 career slugging 1667 walks 521 career home runs 2 MVP's, 9 times in the top 10 MVP voting It'd be nice to see over 1500 runs, over 2500 hits, over 500 doubles, but I think it's also very important to keep that average over .300. I can't believe it's fallen that far down, but it happens. I'd say if Frank wants to play another year, that's his choice to, if not, what a great career.

I'm either going Friday and Saturday, or Saturday and Sunday. I'll let you know which one it is.

ChiSox @ Tribe 6:05 PM CDT
Yeah the Twins are 5-6 on their road trip, which isn't bad. Unfortunately we haven't played very well.
-
ChiSox @ Tribe 6:05 PM CDT
well this game is getting out of hand with a probably Cy Young winner as the opposition.
-
ChiSox @ Tribe 6:05 PM CDT
Those Crede splits are horrible. It's obvious he's late, let Uribe play.

QUOTE (MurcieOne @ Sep 1, 2008 -> 05:58 PM) Swisher hitting below .200 against lefties, yikes Which means against righties he's not too much better.
