I wouldn't mind him coming in to compete for the starting spot in LF, but instead of Hunter/Rowand? No thanks... the guy had a .304 OBP last season.

Honestly, just getting rid of him period would be fine by me. Don't really care what comes back in return as long as the Sox aren't paying him 4.5 million to be a utility infielder. If we had signed him for less, I would be happy with him being a supersub of some sort.

Dunno much else right now but on cnn.com, there is a big "breaking news" banner that reads, "A federal grand jury indicts Barry Bonds on perjury and obstruction of justice charges, AP and CNN affiliate KTVU report."

For what it's worth, Steve Phillips (via a radio clip on Insider) said the White Sox have a good shot at winding up with both Torii Hunter and Miguel Cabrera. Of course I'll believe it when I see it.
