WHAT Sabathia, Lee Sowers, Santana, Rogers, Maroth, when he gets healthy again Liriano, I'm sure the royals have a lefty who will dominate us
Yeah next year David Price

Anyone know what type of stuff he has, and where does he project to in a rotation?
He has only given up like 6 homers in his minor league career, correct?
9 HRs in almost 400 minor league innings pitched, which is incredible. Charlie Haeger has received praise for his ability to prevent the long ball, and Ebert gives up home runs at half the rate Haeger does. Pitching in a large Birmingham park can help him even further. I have never seen him pitch nor know his repertoire, but I would guess he features a splitty or sinker.

I don't know if you were around in the 80's and 90's or if you just jumped in 5 years ago or so, but I have seen too many mediocre seasons. Ozzie brought in a ring his second year, and has fielded solid teams since he became manager. Nothing you crybabies say will change my view.
Why is it "Ozzie brought in a ring" over "Kenny brought in a ring"? KW deserves more credit than any non-player for our World Series. The trades and signings he made to amass the amount of talent he did within a short timespan and limited budget was more than impressive.

The idea of using the intercom at Walmart has great comedic potential, but what they did with it was not very funny. Thx though.

I thought Barfield's was on a high change. I'm just not impressed with his offspeed stuff at all. He seems to have no command.
His change is his best pitch today. Locating it nicely low and away each time. Last K on the change.

He's going to give up a ton of homers this year. That changeup has a long way to go.
What is wrong with his change?
QUOTE(BearSox @ Apr 14, 2007 -> 11:22 AM)
? It seemed to me he got his foot out there far enough... did I miss something? Seriously, did I?
There is a 45 degree angle extending from your front foot when you set. If you step over it, that is a balk, behind it, you're ok. From that overhead view, he was clearly around 60 degrees.
QUOTE(Reddy @ Apr 14, 2007 -> 09:42 AM)
he's pretty fun to watch. really attacks hitters and doesnt seem like a 23 year old up there at all.
He turns 22 tomorrow.

Damn, he was cruising till then. But we all knew it was coming. An 91 MPH fastball won't cut it.
Someone should tell Jeremy Sowers he may as well hang up his cleats.
