  1. QUOTE(shawnhillegas @ Apr 15, 2005 -> 12:14 AM) contusion of the left something or other in the shoulder...everett is day to day according to the tribe broadcasters we need that stick in the line up.
  2. Duque just ain't got it tonight, he can still pull it together.
  3. whoa, how'd we tie up the score? Comacst talking about Curry now.
  4. QUOTE(qwerty @ Apr 14, 2005 -> 09:07 PM) Nothing points towards him never playing again. They just want to take it easy and really dig deep to find out what is wrong with him. I'm not saying it's going to happen, or hoping it does, just got a feeling, hope I'm wrong.
  5. QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Apr 14, 2005 -> 09:04 PM) Like my mom tells me, "you never know who has a gun or a knife" Great advice from Mom.
  6. QUOTE(YASNY @ Apr 14, 2005 -> 06:09 PM) This is beyond the Bulls season. Let's hope Eddy can continue his career. I've been saying that too, he will probably not play again. Screw the playoffs, it's his life we're talking about. I hope he was smart with his loot.
  7. I've been down there and I believe some places are that way. Ah, good ole Nawlins, still a good time for a weekend.
  8. I know it was wrong, but I heard the actual recording of it this morning.......I almost pissed my pants.
  9. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Apr 14, 2005 -> 07:10 PM) ^^^^^^ Exactly. To be quite honest, I don't mess with people I don't know. Maybe it was because I never really wanted my ass kicked or something, but I never picked on people I didn't know. You just don't know who you are dealing with. I think it is a valuable lesson to pass on. For me, maybe it's because I grew up in a very s***ty neighbrohood where you expected everyone to be edgy and violent. I've lived in a really nice, safe neighborhood for a long time and it still amazes me the things people say and do to one another without fear of repercussions.......especially while on the road.
  10. One of the most valuable lessons I learned as a kid is: you never know who you're f***in' with. Seems like some parents need to a better job of communicating that to their kids. Forget all the, 'well Billy it's not nice, or you might hurt people's feelings' crap. Go with, 'don't f*** with people cuz sometimes they snap and go ape s***.'

  12. I'm most impressed by them not beating themselves. I don't see as many stupid mistakes as in the past. They are also capitalizing on other team's mistakes and making them pay. I see good baserunning, good defense, smart pitching. The hitting will come. Chill out and enjoy it, we are tied for the best record in MLB.
  13. Wow, those are great. I guess I can tell mine now without too much shame. I played LF, we're up by 2 in the bottom of the 7th, or 9th, I think we only played 7 back then. There are 2 outs and the bases are loaded. A routine fly ball is hit to me (so I was told later), game over, right? Nope, I COMPLETELY SNOOZED and didn't even break for the ball. I mean I am standing there totally still, looking toward home plate. I heard the centerfielder yell my name, but I still have no clue why or where the ball is. So I spin around twice, looking around, cartoon style. The ball had bounced like 30 feet behind me, rolled to the fence, 3 runs score and we lose. Actually, I think the hitter got an inside the park home run. To this day, I have no clue what was on my mind during that play, but I zoned out completely. The next day, I see the blip from the Sun Times article blown up huge and taped on my coach's door.
  14. QUOTE(Princess Dye @ Apr 14, 2005 -> 05:13 PM) Score670's Dan Bernstein claims Maggs is significantly less husky this year. hmm..... i'll have to get a good look whenever he returns. then again if he keeps hitting .000 he'll never be on SC I bet. He probably couldn't lift weights for a long time and I'm bet he can't keep food down if his stomach is screwed up.
  15. QUOTE(Steff @ Apr 14, 2005 -> 05:02 PM) :rolly It would suck to be sea sick on your honeymoon though. Honey, can you speed this along?... I think I'm gonna puke.
  16. QUOTE(EvilJester99 @ Apr 14, 2005 -> 04:10 PM) Thats always been my fear as well...the food you hear about people getting sick a lot lately...its freaky. Plus not to mention motion sickness or sea sickness...these boats have some of the best stablizers on them but you can still feel the rocking of the ocean.... It's their honeymoon, there will plenty of motion goin' on I think.
  17. QUOTE(Wong & Owens @ Apr 14, 2005 -> 04:06 PM) I went on a cruise last year to Cozumel. Cozumel is a fantastic place, but I've never been to Cancun so I can't compare. Cozumel seems less tourist-y than other places in Mexico from what I know about places like Cancun. Take a 10-minute ferry over to Playa del Carmen, it is beautiful there. We also went to the ruins at Tulum and Kohunlich, if you're into that sort of thing. Shhhhhhh, c'mon man don't give away the Playa del Carmen secret.
  18. She has one serious ass on her, yum yum.
  19. What date did he have the surgery on?
  20. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Apr 14, 2005 -> 01:59 PM) Try stubhub. Everything is guarenteed, and there are a bunch of tickets on there. Just looked, their prices are completely off the chain, but thx anyway man.
