I just saw a news clip of Garland talking after tonight's game. I'm assuming he was asked if he realized he had a perfect game going. It's what I've always said about Red Sox and Cub fans, they think THEY are the story. They think somehow THEY are bigger than the game. The press has romanticized being a member of those fan bases so much, that the fans feel like they have to perform when the cameras are around. The other day at Wrigley in that extra inning game against Milwaukee, there they were, praying and falling down on top of the dugout, hamming it up for the cameras. Puh-leez gimme a break, it's the 1st week of the season. Same thing tonight, Red Sox fans looking for camera time.

I just saw the repaly, what happened after Sfee therw the ball in? It looked like he wnet after him again and they cut off the replay. Stupid, drunk fans, everyone in that section is taunting Sheff too.
