  1. QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Aug 3, 2012 -> 07:22 PM) Let's get the lead this inning. I second that emotion.
  2. QUOTE (Caesar @ Aug 3, 2012 -> 07:16 PM) Ouch. Can you say platoon player? I can say young player.
  3. QUOTE (Caesar @ Aug 3, 2012 -> 07:14 PM) What is Tank hitting against righties this year? .230ish but since that's mostly who he faces most of his HR's are against righties too.
  4. QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 3, 2012 -> 06:57 PM) Gotta hold them down here so Rios can tie the game in the bottom of the inning. Good call cept for the holding them part.
  5. QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Aug 3, 2012 -> 06:28 PM) I take it the double was anothe defensive miscue by the Sox? De Aza lost it somehow maybe in the lights or was afraid of a collision with Rios.
  6. Long day at work. I thought today would've been perfect for another "blackout" game since Grienke considered the Cell "dark." Nice to see a lead though the scoring fr both teams probably not finished.
  7. QUOTE (Brian @ Jul 29, 2012 -> 04:44 AM) Lots happen recently while I have slept/napped. Bears sign Forte and now this. Probably been posted but wouldn't be surprised if Floyd is moved before MOnday. Probably not for much but to get him outta here and create space. Trading Floyd defeats the main purpose of getting Liriano which is the much needed resting of Sale/Peavy/Quintana. All might have issues with stamina and as we saw last start with Sale possibly a dead arm period as they adjust to career highs in innings pitched or many innings pitched after an injury with Peavy. Remember we have plans for the post season which means those guys will have to pitch even more.
  8. Sox attendance should be off the charts for the rest of the home games.
  9. How cool is it, in a season where lots of things are going the Sox way, that the Sox kicked Liriano's rear end recently with a bunch of scouts checking him out. Before that he had been lights out for 10 starts . Sox took him off a lot of teams radar and then they get him .
  10. QUOTE (GoodAsGould @ Jul 28, 2012 -> 09:53 PM) Since I just called Liriano earlier today, my next prediction will be adding Chase Utley but that is kind of pushing it haha Not in my thread you didn't
  11. No one predicted Liriano but my scenario about an experienced AL pitcher and not hurting the future of the team was right.
