2026 Bold Predictions
Didnt mean to sound overly harsh. Just stated the facts as I see them. I take every bold prediction they way they were meant to be taken. I give bold takes year round . I have high hopes for lots of guys . I could include 15 guys or more in bold predictions or say the Sox will be above . 500 and it wouldnt be far from what I actually think.

2026 Bold Predictions
He better get his ass in gear then. Right now hes a long shot to make the opening day roster and likely to get claimed on waivers and be playing for another team.

3/8/2026 - Sox v. Royals; 3:05 - Cameron v. Hicks
Lets hope so. Unbelievable that people continually cry about the bad records and say its so embarassing then double talk saying dont waste money on vets to incrementally improve the team while working in the rookies. These vets help the young players. Every rebuild does this.No team in any sport relies solely on young players. It helps the young players to know they will get the chances to play while they also see win totals increase year to year . That idiotic strategy would have precluded the 2 year contract to Murakami. There's also no way to acquire young players if you have nothing but young players unless all you do is sign guys like Kelenic. People really need to think before they talk about such idiotic notions. The drafts the last few years are way better than most drafts in the Hahn Williams years. Then they built the infrastructure to help them. The $85M payroll isnt low enough for people yet I guess. Jerry is that you ?

Revisionist historians still pushing the negative agenda lies. They got a decent prospect possibly just finding his MLB stroke and a pitcher. Why send money in the Robert trade ? Didnt they make 3 more moves after that $22M was taken off the books and they quickly spent it. Austin Hayes was one of the moves. Serathony Dominquez the other and the Hicks /Sandlin move. Between Acuna, Hays,Dominquez, Hicks and Sandlin, that's 2 future pieces and 4 of the 5 for immediate help if Acuna and Hicks can stick around long enough to make contributions to a better than 2025 team. Helped the OF offensively & defensively while the bullpen was also significantly upgraded as well. Convenient for those historians to forget the repurposing of that Robert salary which Getz said they'd do. He kept his word.
