Carl looked pretty solid today from what I saw of the Expos/Braves game. Got a nice RBI base hit and played right very solidly, even had a nice catch that was a web gem on Baseball Tonight. Maybe he has heard we want him and is showing that he can get it done. Well anyways, I saw why not give him a chance? What do we have to lose?

I wouldn't count on it. Did you seem him for Tampa this year? Talk about washed up, nobody wants to see that.

Ken is pretty awesome. I can't believe that he is still going and has been on for over a month already. Whenever Jeopardy is going to be on someone in my family will say something like, "Ken is on". It is pretty hilarious, I bet Alex feels bad that they watch the show for Ken now and don't care about him.

Just wondering on your guys thoughts about Mike Sweeney. Any chance that we would look at him or any chance the Royals would be willing to trade him to us? According to a website I found he makes $11 million and $12.5 if traded. I don't know if those numbers are accurate. Just wondering what you guys think and any other ideas on who the Sox might pursue to fill Frank's void.

Yeah, I understand. I have been critical of him in the past but this time I don't think it was really his fault. I think he is pitching much better than he used to and was screwed by the umps and that caused the inning, not so much him.

I thought I read somewhere that yesterday Frank had an MRI in Vegas and that is the reason that he wasn't with the team yesterday. Anyone else hear that?

The guy got screwed over by the umps multiple times and still only gave up 3 ER in 7 innings. Man, what a pussy! :headshake
