  1. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 2, 2010 -> 03:26 AM) Haha...that's our #5 hitter! KW and Ozzie got the team they wanted
  2. QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Jun 2, 2010 -> 03:23 AM) Kotsay is due, is he not? it's now "dueisher" or something like that. 10 pitches and it looked as if the first two called strikes were the ones to clobber
  3. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 2, 2010 -> 03:21 AM) Good work standing there Paul. He made him pitch
  4. QUOTE (Kalapse @ Jun 2, 2010 -> 03:17 AM) Since the perfect game: 24 GS 5-12 4.81 ERA 1.45 WHIP 3.45 K/9 2.17 BB/9 1.59 K/BB There is no argument here
  5. Buerhle with 12 hits allowed in 5 innings and 106 pitches. I had seen the score on ESPN earlier as 4-0 Sox, but MB just couldn't handle the lead I guess. I have a feeling Joe Cowley will be calling for trades of several of our big name pitchers if this keeps up
  6. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ May 30, 2010 -> 04:29 PM) Where did this "Konerko will leave this off season" vibe come from? That is a very good question. I have not picked that up from Konerko or Sox management
  7. QUOTE (knightni @ Jun 1, 2010 -> 02:44 PM) Only if Lilli's added to the roster. I understand. I read the story after visiting Soxtalk and it says the team is just preparing for the possible move by getting Lili to Chicago to standby.
  8. QUOTE (knightni @ Jun 1, 2010 -> 02:38 AM) Perhaps they are bringing him up for the home stand while they see how Teahen reacts to playing with the injury. If Teahen is fine, he'll go back. But someone HAS to be sent down correct?
  9. QUOTE (OsweGo-Go Sox @ May 31, 2010 -> 04:08 PM) My concern was that people would look at that and say "Oh, I don't have mlb.tv" and therefore miss the game. That is a good point. Thanks for the heads up on it
  10. QUOTE (The Beast @ May 30, 2010 -> 10:07 PM) Anyone else a bit concerned with Peavy? He had some good innings, but he has to do better for sure. It does make you wonder and worry some for sure
  11. QUOTE (OsweGo-Go Sox @ May 31, 2010 -> 05:18 AM) You might want to clarify that when you say "MLB TV" you mean MLB Network. Techinicality
  12. QUOTE (Lillian @ May 31, 2010 -> 12:50 AM) This speculation seems to be going around: http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2010/05/how-...ce-morales.html YUes, you are right the rumor has been floated. I would bet we have heard the PK rumor for several years every year. I heard it Saturday on ESPN BBTN, but several names pop up. Why not add J Dye to the list?
  13. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ May 31, 2010 -> 03:58 AM) speaking of devaluing your own We do see this quite often and it's unfortunate
  14. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ May 31, 2010 -> 04:23 PM) How is Viciedo defensively at 1B? I think people really underestimate the amount of errors Konerko has saved White Sox infielders the past couple of seasons. If Konerko leaves and the White Sox have a guy who really can't pick it at 1B, they will definitely need a new 3B and probably SS if Alexei can't get his head out of his ass. In yesterday's game vrs TB we saw Konerko display a real good glove and heard praise from Harrelson who sees PK everyday in the fied and at the plate, I agree with your assessment
  15. QUOTE (fathom @ May 30, 2010 -> 05:06 PM) PK does not want to stay in Chicago after this season, according to what he said in ST. He basically said he'll be moving on to a different team after this season. I love PK...but it's time for a new locker room attitude, IMO. Fathom, I have never heard or read that quote. What I did hear and it has been reported before that PK said things like "I have no control over what happens and this is a business, etc." But, I have never seen a quote such as what you put down
  16. QUOTE (fathom @ May 30, 2010 -> 04:56 PM) Um, no we don't Oh yes we should Konerko is too valuable to this team. We have seen similar moves made by KW really flame out and I think it's time we start valueing our own more than we have. We have a leader and a very good ball player here in Konerkoand he wants to stay in Chicago
  17. I would take this game and a win as a moral victory. I can't believe that Danks gave up 8 runs, but I guess it was his first real poor outing of the year if I remember right. Peavey needs to step up today. I'll be there behind the TV
