I thought it was pretty funny actually. But, what it shows is there is stress in the lives of managers and GM,s etc. I am sure they get tired of always hearing negative things from armchair QB's about how they handle things

Watched game on WGN. It was a lot of fun. Great pitching by Peavy and AJ and Rios looked good

I hesitate to endorse any idea of dismantiling our starting pitching. Pitcing is what wins and followed by good defense and offense. But, if you do trade one I guess you go with the one with the most value. Is that Mark Buerhle? Maybe. I think it's between him and Floyd. Floyd's contract makes him more palatable to a team with limited finances, but MB has the history of two no-hitters, etc, etc. I am thinking the staff will get it turned around though. Question remains if it's to late for this year though

I think AJ is still our best option at catcher as Flowers is not performing at AAA, but my feeling is several Sox will be gone either within the next 5 days or 3 weeks depending on their status. This off season coud see Ozzie and/or KW gone also. I would prefer KW be sent packing

I sure hope we finally have a starting pitcher step up other than Freddie. FG needs some help and can't do it all alone

If KW decides to deal I am guessing everyone is on the block and it just depends on what is offerred in return on whether someone goes or not. You don't tear up the team just to tear it up IMO. I see AJP as the most likely to go simply because he has the 10/5 situation coming up. However, what is in the pipeline to replace these guys? I for one don't think we necessarily have anyone ready in the minors. Flowers has taken a step back and Viciedo is iffy to say the least and just learning 1B. This team coud be last place in the division at the end of the season. It has been an unpleasant satrt of the season and could be an even longer summer. MB is another one I could see going and maybe should as much as I think he is the icon right now. Look at what was traded off from our minors system for aging veterans for the most part. This hole was dug by our management staff. Now saying all that I am not wanting to give up on this team or this season. We need to win games period. Let's go!
