  1. I refuse to believe there was nobody to throw to there
  2. Why would you throw the two yard route on third and ten with no pressure?
  3. Great play call by Tucker. Big stop for the D. Need more points now
  4. Offense has only one non-short field TD.
  5. The penalties are significantly degrading the quality of the game
  6. Our defense is fine. They've given up two touchdowns and have three takeaways.
  7. The jury's out on how good this D is, but it is most certainly not last year's defense.
  8. Nice to have you back, pass rush.
  9. I would like to look at the INT play and see if/where there was an uncovered receiver
  10. BTW there was very obvious pass interference on that play
  11. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Oct 5, 2014 -> 01:26 PM) l would not be surprised if Trestman is gone after next year, One of these days we should consider firing the quarterback, too.
  12. It looks like my afternoon is going to be a lot less busy
  13. I don't know if if it's the player or the coach, but we're getting to the point where we've tried a lot of different players.
  14. I'm not a big fan of DRS at all
  15. Go down in flames, Tigers. Throw more money at it and get 'em next year!

Ideally, as a hitting coach you'll have more inexplicable successes than inexplicable failures. Most importantly, you should have as few proven MLB players fall off the map as possible.
  17. The new Moto X will probably become price competitive with Nexus 5 off contract after a little while
  18. Cespedes isn't that good. This loss isn't about losing Cespedes. It's about having a team built on a lot of iffy parts and those iffy foundations crumbling down the stretch. When it came down to it, they're a fortunate bounce of a ball away potentially making a run in a playoff series.
  19. Boo. f*** the Royals
  20. This game has been good.
  21. Windows 8 was measurably faster than Windows 7, especially on boot-up. I don't think it was hard to use. Launching programs that I didn't have shortcuts for was in effect no different as I was just tapping Windows+S and typing a search term. It's just a matter of where the search terms appeared. I like the live tiles, but they'll be better served in the hybrid start menu they showed off today. MS Office is such a superior product, though, that I decided to dual boot with W8.1 on my Macbook because I loathe the Mac versions so much. With that said, I do like iWorks. They didn't try to make them into MS Office. They made them simpler, different, elegant, and easy to use. I can't do serious work on there, but they're fun to use for simple things.
  22. Seems like they should have elaborated on that. Apparently Windows 8.1 = 9.
  23. Appellate court just ruled that federal exchanges cannot issue subsidies. This is very bad. Without Congress amending the wording of the law, which seems ludicrously unlikely, this could effectively destroy the law. Let's hope that at least the Democratic states like Illinois will set up their own exchanges since nobody really anticipated the creation of the exchanges to be a big battleground in the first place.

All of this stuff is really tempering my enthusiasm for getting a pet. I'm getting emotional just reading about your pets I don't know if I can handle seeing one of my own go after losing my childhood pets
