  1. Stupid pitch calling to give T Flow a fastball
  2. Looks like has a good shot give us 5
  3. I'd say his screwball needs more work. He had said in an interview that he basically lost it when he was moved to the bullpen.
  4. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ May 22, 2013 -> 07:40 PM) f***. stupid stupid stupid play making the 1st out at 3rd. ?
  5. Compare Bucholz's inning to Santiago's and you tell me which one deserved to have 2 runs score
  6. Couple tough takes, great job.
  7. QUOTE (fathom @ May 22, 2013 -> 07:36 PM) You don't think Santiago's one of the most valuable assets? He really is.
  8. That was an amazingly pitched at bat.
  9. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 22, 2013 -> 07:32 PM) But when you take a pitcher out of his normal routine...even if it's just one day, and it's not like Santiago has been a starter at the big league level for 3-4-5 years, it's going to shake him up a little. And we have no way of knowing exactly what was the velocity he was throwing at (some throw harder so they're a bit tired, others don't)...just the quotes we read from the newspaper expressing some doubt and trepidation. He's still not over the 4th inning Saturday, one would think. It's just a puzzling way to treat one of the most valuable assets in your entire organization. You're giving him no credit for his ability to deal with failure. Let's assume he knows how to have a bad outing and not let it give him "doubt and trepidation"
  10. We are really overreacting to the potential risk of starting Santiago today. It is sub-optimal, but really not a big deal. Those side sessions are typically thrown at a very low intensity. You wouldn't develop any soreness, for instance. Some guys won't even throw them from a mound.
  11. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 22, 2013 -> 07:22 PM) John Danks also started on Saturday. If he was starting and getting lit up on 3 day's rest tonight, then whose fault would it be? Danks, or the GM? GM has final say on these things, but this is all almost certainly a decision made by the coaching staff
  12. Looks like he's settled down. He should be okay. In the end, the runs scored on a bulls*** soft hit anyway
  13. That 0-2 pitch was a screwball
  14. Nava acting mad when he'd already been gifted a ball
  15. A bit low on velocity
  16. The 81mph pitch is a changeup, not a screwball
  17. Piece of s*** Ortiz
  18. I definitely prefer Sanchez to Greene.
  19. I had a lot of help ITT when I got my latest computer.
  20. QUOTE (Real @ May 22, 2013 -> 05:20 PM) what's this I'm hearing on 670 regarding Beckham being tried out at SS? They're deciding if they need someone on the bench that can play SS. Some chance that they want to keep Casper and drop both Greene and Sanchez
  21. QUOTE (bbilek1 @ May 22, 2013 -> 04:07 PM) I hope you're joking. Pretty much. I don't hate the idea of seeing Howard on our team, but I can't fathom a price I like.
  22. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 22, 2013 -> 04:03 PM) Ryan Howard has 3.75 years and $100 million remaining on his contract. Yikes. Well, we have to replace PK....
