  1. I think Wise playing CF is total crap. I know ADA asked for it to be this way, but Alejandro is a fine CF. I've seen a lot of DeWayne and he's average at best. I'm okay with it happening occasionally, since apparently DeWayne doesn't feel all that comfortable in LF and this is probably hardly a >1 time a week thing. QUOTE (flavum @ Apr 6, 2013 -> 09:07 AM) https://twitter.com/CSNBoden/status/3205373...3325696/photo/1 https://twitter.com/Mariners/status/3205388...4610816/photo/1 Looks like he changed his mind a couple times, but this was the right day to switch up the lineup and it isn't like he had to change things too radically. See how left handed we can be! QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 6, 2013 -> 09:42 AM) Giving Viciedo the day off is a nice idea. Yep, if there was one day I'd bench a righty, it'd be the day they face Felix.
  2. QUOTE (greg775 @ Apr 5, 2013 -> 11:30 PM) I don't understand the disapproval of Hawk. Like tonight's game. I watched most of it and the innings just fly by because he and Stone just talk. They don't "announce" and sound like professional enunciators. They just talk to me the Sox fan. I think he's great. And I think Stone is great too. I think you're great.
  3. Not the best AB for TFlo to end it. Some positives, some negatives today. Trying not to get too wrapped up in early season stuff.
  4. Wow dude, you just walked Alexei Ramirez
  5. So Alexei...how good do you want this good start of yours to be?
  6. I wonder if other teams' fans always talk about home runs when they need to score or if that is just part of being a White Sox fan in the 21st Century
  7. Damn was that close.
  8. For some reason the Seattle radio feed is playing over Hawk and Stoney and I don't know how to make it stop.
  9. That looked like a good break for us on that call
  10. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 5, 2013 -> 10:30 PM) Nah, with how quickly it happened, it's excusable. Too early in the season to start having a short leash. Agreed. He looked completely fine before that and the defensive play seemed to be the issue at first before the hits just kept coming
  11. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 5, 2013 -> 10:27 PM) What the hell, why weren't we walking him there? First real awful managerial decision of the year. Was probably listening to Soxtalk's complaining last year that we didn't let him pitch against enough lefties
  12. They're threatening. Do your thing, Nate
  13. QUOTE (greg775 @ Apr 5, 2013 -> 10:20 PM) Don't like the Beckham at bat. But he's had a lotta hits this year. He made some nice contact, just got under it too much/wrong part of the ballpark. I like him hitting it hard up the middle.
  14. Time to throw Reed out there?
  15. Jones looks much more confident with the slider so far than last year. Always felt like some grand experiment out there last year.
  16. That looked good.
  17. Sucks waiting 4 games for Dayan to turn the corner
  18. Okay, I officially think every ball hit in the air to the pull side is a home run.
  19. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 5, 2013 -> 09:55 PM) It might have been the shortest, most compact swing he's had in a Sox jersey. I think he's trying to take more compact hacks. The swing on the single earlier was more contact oriented as well.
  20. QUOTE (Baron @ Apr 5, 2013 -> 09:52 PM) Thought that one was gone I started shouting but that only gives it about 1:4 odds
  21. Shows you how big the Keppinger at bat was.
