Rowands been slumping lately. He's 4 for his last 25, and i want to see him finish on a high note. Does a good manager sit him for the rest of the year or let him play it out the last couple?

When I saw you guys talking about working hard to improve, i thought about aaron rowand. about a year ago i started hearing about how he had been working on his fielding, and now he is IMO a gold glove caliber centerfielder. hittingwise, .310 isnt s***house luck either. you cant tell me some work wasnt put into that. Of course, it does appear he gets some credit. maybe not too underrated

We definitely need a fifth starter. You can't have a winning season when 20% of your games are automatic losses.

i know a guy thats a cubs fan, he says he doesnt like the sox because there are too many hispanics and blacks. a cubs fan says that!

Anyone notice we never draft any hard throwers? I got really excited about McCarthy because with his size I thought he'd be a flamethrower. Maybe when he fills out he'll throw harder.

i dont want to get rid of paulie but quite frankly i could live without carlos, especially if we got some holes filled for him
