  1. Excactly. Unless KW pays the role of our Mr. Hudler, there is no way he can be 100% sure about anything.
  2. It's not working for me. I typed something and it says I'm not in any channel yet.
  3. I meant after the conclusion of the playoffs, it still takes a long time.
  4. I thought you were serious, but now you are full of s***. Sorry to say. But if you are not joking, you're crazy.
  5. Why does it take so long for them to announce winners?
  6. The guy is almost as old as Jesse Orosco that's why!!! http://www.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/mlb/stats/ml...playerID=114374 He certainly aint what he used to be. I don't trust his health, either.
  7. Pitching coach Rick PETERSON
  8. These are SUPPOSED to not be playoff included. Which is why the NBA hands out there awards before the playoffs end. I think they should do all the voting the day between regular season and day 1 of the playoffs. I think that whether the voters try to or not, the playoffs sway there voting thoughts.
  9. What do YOU want out of a 6 million dollar hitter? As much as players get paid today, even with the market taking a downturn, I think if we got the same production from someone as Carl gave last year, 6 mill would definitely be worth it.

  11. If we offer him arbitration, he may very well go and accept it, then we'd be stuck with him. I wouldn't mind being "stuck" with him. At $7-$9 million?? Puhlease Why do you assume that he will get 7-9? He made $9 last year. His camp would not submit an arbitration figure much lower than that. The Sox couldn't go too much lower, for fear they would lose. The way arbitration works is that both submit a figure and the arbitrator has to choose one or the other. For example, if Everett's agent submitted $8 million and the Sox submitted $5 million, if the arbitrator felt that Everett was worth more than $5 he would be obligated to give him the $8 million. He can't "round down". Granted, the owners have won the majority of arbitration cases the past few years, but that would not hold well if the figures are too far apart. The $7-$9 million I posted were just a guess, but to me, $6 mil is too much for him, based on his past numbers. Coming off a solid year, he would have more leverage in my opinion. I understand that. But, I do definitely think he is worth 6 million.
  12. Dempster will not be ready until at least sometime during the season. I heard him on the Todd Wright show, saying that he can't raise his arm above his head.

  14. He didn't play in enough games to qualify, that's why he didn't win. Speaking of stuff like that, do any of you remember when Palmeiro won it a few years ago whilst only appearing in TWENTY NINE games at first base? What a joke!
  15. Ahh. It looked sarcastic, but I wasn't sure. When's the last time a SOX other than Robin took home a Gold Glove?
  16. You honestly thought he would win one? Maybe if they were for improvement....

I too have sent you a PM. Please check it if you haven't already. Tell me what you think.
  19. I liked him. I like "Cave" Kusnyer as well. When I went to a game this year, I was standing and watching the little kids take their hacks, and he could tell I wanted to get in there. Even though I'm bigger than he is, he came up to me and says,"Get int there big guy!" It was really cool.
  20. I was just wondering because it seems that MLB managing is almost a must to have palyer experience, but football seems different.
  21. I truly think (well, mainly hope) that he'll be back strong next year. We'll need him.
  22. I was wondering last night; how many NFL head coaches were once players in the NFL? Because I couldn't think of any.
  23. I was going to say something to the effect of "if you want a higher payroll, get your ass out to the park", but refrained. You hit the nail on the head. I made it out ot the park 4 times this year, and I live over 2000 miles away. I also bought a s*** load of overpriced merchandise. I did what I could.
  24. I must have missed it. I haven't seen any talk on the boards about it. Thanks for filling me in.
