  1. No, I haven't. Honestly, I havent heard them talking to anyone. I don't know KW, OG, or JR.
  2. I know he is not "GONE" yet. But if you look at it that way, EVERY free agent is "gone" until they're signed SOMEWHERE. Where has it been established that he is not coming back.
  3. Too damn bad, too. Helton is the PERFECT guy for this team. Name one better. I can't.
  4. After fully reading the article, it points out that Preston Wilson led the NL in RBI's. Damn, I didn't realize that.
  5. I would LOVE to get one of these guys. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=1654967
  6. I really hope he comes back, I like him alot.
  7. No s***! That's really what this is all about.
  8. Wow. Now that is something to think about. are f***ing serious? You really stand by that crap? no s*** the divorce rate is climbing day by day. If you find a girl you love and loves you back, you'll understand that anyone that ascribes to that honkey s*** will only find misery. Train her like a monkey? WTF??!!? And if you haven't figured out that women run every man/woman relationship, than no wonder you're buying into that junk. good luck buddy, I'm sure you're going to have a lot of success with that philosophy......... I don't mean treating the girls like monkeys, but the way he presented the whole monkey thing (female relationship excluded, in fact I should have deleted the part after the monkeys and banana) is what I liked.
  9. I just noticed this, and has him down with 6 "AO's" does anyone know what an AO is?
  10. Thank you Spiff for posting that. Even if that is true, he did never PITCH. It doesn't have record of him delivering a single pitch. Scenario: We're losing 35-0, Big Frank takes the mound with man on first. He strides the rubber. He falls asleep! The runner makes it all the way to third before someone can rouse Frank. JM decides he doesn't want a pitcher who can't stay awake, regardless of the score, and Frank is removed before throwing one pitch.
  11. Wow. Now that is something to think about.
  12. I was wondering about this. Luis Sojo was in the Yanks dugout during the Series, but was he there as a player or coach?
  13. Ahhh, f*** it to hell. Anyways, I was just pointing out the fact and was wondering if I missed something.
  14. I'll try to fix that. Try this one. http://chicago.whitesox.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb...t3=1&statSet2=2 edit: This one works.
  15. http://chicago.whitesox.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb...t3=1&statSet2=2 I think this is a total error, but the site has Frank listed as a pitcher on his defensive charts for 99'. Apparently, he didn't throw any pitches, but allowed two stolen bases. This is just an error, correct? edit: This link doesn't work, click on the one a few posts down.
  16. No there really is a term called Mulatto, meaning half black and half white. I learned that on a Howard Stern skit where they had a KKK guy rank which group he hated the most. KKK sucks.
  17. Jason, in factoring this year's $60 million salary, you didn't have the wages of the 3-4 bench players.
  18. I totally agree that playing baseball is the best, most fun, and easy job in the world. But I just don't understand why some people think that it is a "children's game" ????????? On a slightly related note: There is nothing in the whole world that I'd rather be than a MLB player making the league minimum (higher salary excluded, obviously) I'd rather be a mediocre at best MLB'er than the best at anythin else in the entire world, salary included in this.
  19. *Tear* Beautiful. I have no idea how, having absolutely no connections with the White Sox or the city of Chicago, but they are forever a part of me. i no longer have a choice, and that is just fine with me.
  20. Let's see.... Frank won the batting title and hit 35 HR's and drove in 125 runs in Albert's first year here, and in his second, Frank hit .265, 29 Hr's, and drove in, scored, and walked more than 100 times in each category. I wish those were his worst years.
  21. How could he be traded? If no one wants him for free (contract withstanding), why would someone give up something for him?
