We didn't do anything HUGE last winter (Colon was pretty big), and ALOT of us thought that we were gonna take it all in the spring. I think we will get some moderate FA's and we will be able to compete if Guillen can get this team to play inspired baseball.
And, it's f***ing Veteran's Day still! Give them time.
When my brother was going to college at art Institute of Seattle, they had him living in a regular apartment building. We would always try to be as quiet as possible, but my brothers computer chair would piss the guy on the bottom off when ever it rolled. Anyways, the guys way of "getting back at us" was that he would POUND on his ceiling/our floor constant for over a minute. It was quite funny.
What are the odds that the coach and manager of each of the 4 teams will get fired bf their seasons r finished?
I really think that Callahan will be the only one to not last the season.
Never mind. As I read it more closely, the Cards bought out his contract, making him a free agent. I didn't even remember that he was on the Cardinals in the first place. Go get 'em.
When I was first getting into baseball, I had a "second favorite" team. Now, I can't imagine rooting (caring, really) what any other team is doing. Other than the opponents of the other competitors in our pennant race, nobody else matters to me.
It must have been made several years back, because he had the ALL Star starting pitcher as Vladimir Nunez in 2000 for the Cubs. Didn't happen.
Either way, :puke
