  1. Hell has frozen over!! Uribe walked twice in a game.
  2. QUOTE (wilmot825 @ Jul 21, 2008 -> 03:42 PM) "Miller LIIIIIITE, HEy Beer Dude." The guy with the frog voice, he is the best ever :headbang :headbang
  3. QUOTE (JorgeFabregas @ Jul 21, 2008 -> 10:23 AM) Someone on WSI said that Mark's grandfather had passed and that his next start is up in the air. In that case, it may be that Masset pitches for Jose and Richard pitches for Mark. They mentioned that about MB on the radio yerterday.
  4. QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 20, 2008 -> 02:39 PM) Wow, why is Crede not guarding the line? What terrible freaking managing. Again!!!!
  5. QUOTE (whitesoxbrian @ Jul 20, 2008 -> 02:35 PM) Or Bay and stick Q in RF. More likely is The Cubin Missle goes to the OF and Uribe at 2nd.
  6. Whimpy would discribe pitchers with a weird wind up as "He's got that funky motion" in a polish accent. It just stuck with me.
  7. QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 13, 2008 -> 04:01 PM) Wait, 6 miscues: - Contreras missing first on what should have been a 3-6-1 DP - OC's throw in the dirt to allow runner to reach 3rd - Swisher misplaying fly ball - Uribe's ball through the legs - PK throwing it away - Ramirez misses pop up What about Ozzie leaves Count in to long Ozzie takes out Masset to early.
  8. QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Jul 9, 2008 -> 10:29 PM) Kap is a huge Cubs homer obviously and has openly admitted to not liking us, however he generally is fair towards us in regards to his opinions. That puts him ahead of most media around here. He comes in my wash all the time. He has a pic of Oz and his kid on his cell phone. He says he loves Ozzie.
  9. QUOTE (Kalapse @ Jul 9, 2008 -> 10:26 PM) Because he wouldn't have scored from second on a single anyway? I understand trying to get to third with less than 2 outs but when you're distracting the man at the plate on a 2 strike count your actions becomes counter productive. He had one strike on him.
  10. QUOTE (ChiSox35 @ Jul 9, 2008 -> 08:35 PM) Awesome job, offense. Whew, sure is tough making up a 4 run deficit with a one man batting order... Two, Swish got on twice.
  11. QUOTE (TheBigHurt @ Jul 9, 2008 -> 06:39 PM) What the f***... 668 is just a black screen for me :angry What about the other channels? Maybe reset your reciever.
  12. QUOTE (Wanne @ Jul 9, 2008 -> 06:37 PM) Javy looks pathetic....almost like he doesn't even have a clue what he's trying to do out there and just throwing. He pitching like a pu**y. He has been for a few starts now
  13. QUOTE (TheBigHurt @ Jul 9, 2008 -> 06:36 PM) Does anybody here have DirecTV? Because I do, and on Comcast+ AND Extra Innings for the Sox game I just see a black screeen I have dtv Its fine on 668
  14. QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Jul 8, 2008 -> 09:34 PM) HD isn't working. The normal station is. I only get one feed on directv.
  15. QUOTE (soxfan3530 @ Jul 8, 2008 -> 09:59 PM) according to yahoo! we have already lost 5-4. lol. I just saw that.
  16. QUOTE (daa84 @ Jul 3, 2008 -> 12:03 PM) he said "well, im a bit worried about him too" but overall it didnt seem like he tohught it would be a long term thing But it almost seemed like he didnt understand the injury. The good thing is that it is not on his pitching side.
  17. QUOTE (daa84 @ Jul 3, 2008 -> 07:33 AM) so how worried should we be about jenks? Coop sounded worried on the Score this morning.
  18. QUOTE (kapkomet @ Jul 2, 2008 -> 12:06 PM) I see your sig - New York, New York... Why would Jagr go to Russia, besides $$$$, and it's not like he should need the money. I'm betting he goes to the Pens.
  19. Avery was great for NY but wouldnt be a fit for the Hawks. At that money I'm glad NY didnt sign him and I'm a Ranger fan.
  20. Twins placed outfielder Michael Cuddyer on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to June 28, with a strained tendon in his left index finger. Cuddyer will likely attempt a return immediately after the break, though since the finger has already been bothering him for a couple of weeks, it may not be quite that simple. Denard Span will get most of the playing time in his place, with Craig Monroe also picking up a few at-bats.
