  7. QUOTE (earthshiner @ Apr 27, 2009 -> 05:33 PM) cool, a real double header. I wonder if we'll see of these cause of the economy. You know, not try to milk the fans outta more money Yeah this is interesting. cant remember the last time they threw the games back to back with half-hour break.
  8. i like the gray aways the best. followed by the home white pinstripes.
  9. While I'm not of the mind set to panic and think colon/contreras need to be replaced immediately, if they continue to struggle want would people think of pedro. again im not supporting the signing persay, just thought i would see what people thought.
  10. screw it! i want a sweep. revenge for that 4-game massacre in toronto last year!
  11. QUOTE (JustWin @ Apr 23, 2009 -> 02:21 PM) 6 and 3 on the road is a good thing. Even if we lose tonight we'll still have a winning road trip, which is better than many of us expected at the start of it. But then we come home to face a tough Toronto team. Really, though, doesn't it seem as if there are no easy teams in the AL this year? KC is definitely improved and are no pushover, Seattle seems to be doing surprisingly well so far, Toronto is good, Baltimore has been good. Teams that are doing poorly, like the Indians, Angels, and Rangers, still aren't teams you can just kind of assume a win that night. I know any team can beat any other team on any given night, but... True but I doubt most of those teams hang around all season. I think KC will be tough all year and maybe Seattle. Watching Minnesota on a pretty regular basis, I actually think they might be pretty rough this season.
  12. Yay! The annual Red Sox/Yankess vs. Cubs/Mets game!!!
  13. QUOTE (CryptviLL @ Apr 23, 2009 -> 01:29 PM) let us celebrate a white sox and bulls win tonight. That. I will be at the Bulls game so I wont be able to watch the Sox. Let's kill Eaton and have a very solid 6-3 road trip!
  14. this thread was amazingly timed. lol. Fields baby!
  15. GO AWAY NICK SWISHER!
  16. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 20, 2009 -> 11:08 AM) He has the best stuff on the staff. I'll give him that. He's still missing a bit of consistency. Right now, I see Danks starting and I figure "Score 2 and we'll probably win." I see Floyd starting and think "if he's on, score 1 and we probably win...if he's not, then we need 5 or 6". Completely agree with you assessment.
  17. seriously??? why??
  18. if they win this game i will be pleasently surprised. ah hell with it. Colon is going mow em down! GO WHITE SOX!
  19. Based purely on the parks themselves, Fenway, Camden Yards, PNC (Pittsburgh), and Miller are musts. I like Cleveland and Detroits stadiums as well.
  20. Tough call. My family is from Minnesota so going up there to watch the Sox hand it to them (the few times we do up there) is always fun. But I would have to put watching the White Sox in Boston and St. Louis were the two best experiences. Great, intense games. Great fans. Great atmosphere and the bars and nightlife were equally as fun.
