I also want in. Sorry I'm so late. Last two years I was commish, maybe league 6?, not sure but DBAHO won the league. I prefer roto and am willing to be the commish again.

Laegue #8 is up. Last year, I believe DBHAO won it. I emailed some of you who were in last year. We had 2 managers for Soxtalk quit by midseason. This year, I want all managers very active. I highly reccomend the Extra Innings Baseball package. It's not too late to get your $ worth. It's like $149 for the year, but you get every game. I would be lost without it...The work day is so much better knowing that I can watch the Sox everyday.

Can you believe that someone offered me Aramis Ramirez for Miguel Tajada??? Ok Southsider, I know....I Know.... You countered in ridiculous fashion after I offered you Iguchi for ARam, but... Through May 10 Iguchi .364 with 5SB ARam .258 with 6HR's Iguchi will hit for average all year.

I really didn't think that Donn Paul or Robin Ventura did too bad. Being a first year Sox fan, I have not warmed up to DJ or Hawk yet. Compared to other teams broadcasts, they rank pretty low. They don't bring much excitement to the telecasts and have given liitle inside info. On Monday night, DJ laid it on too thick in his praises of Robin. I thought I was listening to Pedro Gomez tslking sbout Barry Bonds. I love watching the Sox broadcasts (especially since I live in Indy), but it is weak at best. :sleep

Dye is simply ....awful! He is the definition of liability. Can't hit, can't move runners over and his fielding is atrocious. I am so disappointed in this guy. Timo Perez isn't any better, but wow something has to be done. Bring up Anderson or put Ozuna/Harris out there. Certainly doesn't help matters that Rowand is off to another slow start. Just keeping it real.

I like the second trade a lot. Berkman is a stud, but won't be back for at least another month. The Soriano trade is pretty equal. I personlly don't think much of Uribe or Cabrera. Womack offers some stolen bases, but not much else. Thome will get you HR's and RBI's. Personally, I'd stick with Soriano and Uribe. There are lots of First Basemen.

How I would love to watch a White Sox game at a bar with volume! Unfortunately, here in Indianapolis baseball falls to the bottom of the totem pole. Local BDUBs will show: NCAA Mens BB, NBA, Womens NCAA BB, WNBA, High-School BB. "Hoosiers the movie," Indy Racing League, Nascar, Formula One, Speed Channel, Motocross, & Tractor Pull all before ANY BASEBALL GAME. The newspaper "Indianapolis Star" covers all of the above in that order as well... Enjoy the Sox wherever you can....

Since I am a neewbie to the Sox fan base, I am seeking advice on the best and safest way to get to US Cellular. Got my opening day tix, but have never been to US Cellular. I am coming from Indiana and have benn told to take the red line. If I did that, what stop is the best to get on. I would still have to park somewher and leave my car. Parking by the stadium is $17, which I am willing to pay, but I am more concerned about getting out of Chicago and back to Indianapolis in a decent amount of time. With little traffic, my trip would take 3 hours. I do realize the Ryan can be a nightmare especially late afternoons. I would greatly appreciate anyones advice.

I personally would love to see AJ. Burnett in a White Sox uniform.

He would be a nice AAA player who could possibly help the Sox out for a week or two should injuries pop up.

Washburn would be a solid Number 5, but Wade Miller would not only be a better fit, he'd be your #3.

I see when it is, but what is it all about? Is it worth attending?
