QUOTE(backman @ Jan 18, 2005 -> 09:42 PM) has anyone heard the trade rumors fling around randy moss, both minnisota newpapers seem to be saying that moss is a valuable barging tool for some defense. i heard berry on arizona, and possibly boldin. i heard this, arizona would be an interesting fit, dennis green and moss reuniting, id like to see it happen, if i were the 49ers id trade andre carter (de) for him, 49ers were always good when they had decent receivers

QUOTE(qwerty @ Jan 18, 2005 -> 07:07 PM) 99% of the time you don't try to really stop a team's leading scorer. Because most times they will find a way to score those points one way or the other. Basically have to hope for an off night from them. You have to stop the main role players like payton/mccarty /allen if you want a chance to win. whos allen? see half the time i see the celtics play the bulls pierce likes to shoot mccarty isn't that great, i went to a celtics game and he threw up bricks, hes sort of like kurt thomas but not the greatest shooter Lafrentz however needs to have hands in his face

everyone has alex smith going so low in the draft, san fran needs a qb, and from what ive heard aaron rodgers is so far gonna be a niner, thats disapointing because he played like crap in the bowl game and alex smith can do it all, smith is your next rothlesberger

QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Jan 18, 2005 -> 08:18 PM) Shinjo and Taguchi weren't ever good in Japan so I wouldn't compare Iguchi to either. As far as not being as good as Matsui in Japan, Tadahito's last couple of years were better then anything Kaz did batting average and obp wise and we wouldn't need him to supply power. I like Iguchi because I think he'd be a nice fit behind spod in the order. he would be a nice fit, but i got the feeling he wouldn't bat second, and honestly i can't picture him in a sox uni

QUOTE(Cubs Suck23 @ Jan 18, 2005 -> 11:22 AM) Im with Beck I would stay away from Aurilia.. If we not going to get Iguchi or make a trade.I would love to see the Sox get Barry Larkin. I see that Cora hasnt sign with Clev yet do you think the sox has something to do with that i thought cora signed, saw it on the espn ticker, and im confused, you dont want aurilia who is decent, but you want larkin who will retire in a year or two

QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Jan 18, 2005 -> 06:23 PM) This picture bring back any memories? Do you remember where you were when it happened? saw it on espn a while back

I'll be the first to say this but we didn't play all that great against NY but who am i to complain, the bulls sport a seven game winning streak, and are recently one of the hottest teams in the league, not only does beating the celts help them gain games in the playoff seeds on them but it also gets us to a five hundred record. This one will be tough, Keys to the game: 1. Stop pierce, make sure he doesn't get the ball 2. Don't give their frontcourt room to shoot because walter mccarty and raef lafrentz can shoot long distances 3. get the ball down low because we can beat them down low Now all we can do is hope the pacers keep losing so we get seventh seed celtics

stupid cartoon, just wait till the packers win next year, :fyou

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jan 18, 2005 -> 08:44 AM) I gotta say, as a baseball purist, I love the idea, and I with the Sox would revisit it. the sox away jersey would look best with no names -
