  1. QUOTE(GASHWOUND @ Jan 24, 2005 -> 05:47 PM) This game sort of worries me,..the hawks just had that big win against Boston where they rallied from 17 down..might have given them momentum..gotta get these wins against these crappers cause their gonna get alot tougher Yeah who knows how the hawks did that, but props to them because that helped us, no need to sweat this one, we have a better D than the celtics, we wont let them back in the game.
  2. QUOTE(spataro51 @ Jan 24, 2005 -> 05:40 PM) I was reading about the iguchi signing on whitesox.com and at the end of the article they were saying who we signed and they said we signed kevin walker? who is he and when did we sign him? Where has you been? Short and simple, Kevin Walker is a reliever who I believe was playing in one of the Giants farmsystems, nothing to brag about. Signed him maybe two weeks after the world series.
  3. im a god at all fantasy sports so it be nice if you threw me in ill give you a challenge
  4. Bulls and Hawks again but this time we are on the road where we tend to have trouble but I think we will close this one out and get the win. We seemed to handle the Hawks pretty well last time, what i would like to see is gordon getting some more shots so he can heat up again. Keys to the game: 1. Walker and Harrington seemed to do pretty well against us so stop them. 2. Score early!! 3. Keep the new streak alive!! (??)
  5. id have to see us against more of the western conference to tell if we are good enough to make the playoffs, we do have talent though
  6. honestly i didnt vote, because theres a lot of good teams we haven't yet played like the spurs sonics lakers w/kobe mavericks
  7. with this signing ive been wondering if maybe we might trade harris garland and a prospect for a decent starter
  8. QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Jan 24, 2005 -> 04:57 PM) They signed both Grudz and Robbie Alomar (I think), as well as David Eckstein. Perhaps there would be some interest. robbie signed with the d-rays
  9. QUOTE(Punch and Judy Garland @ Jan 24, 2005 -> 04:53 PM) I bet the Cardinals would have some interest in WIllie. They put up with Marlon Anderson and he is even worse. Tony loves guys who can play outfield and infield in the NL game. Could be a fit there. Maybe we could pick up a middle reliever for him. they do have some decent middle relievers, we mind as well package timo with him
  10. QUOTE(santo=dorf @ Jan 24, 2005 -> 03:17 PM) Well of course, you're comparing 3 guys covering 2 positions to one guy at second. I think Iguchi at second AND Uribe at short will produce more than the platoon you listed above. i hope so
  11. QUOTE(chi-guy2 @ Jan 24, 2005 -> 04:22 PM) all i wonder is what kind of batting stance does he have, all the japanese guys seem to have some interesting ways to approach the plate and have odd stances not that thats a bad thing
  12. all i wonder is what kind of batting stance does he have, all the japanese guys seem to have some interesting ways to approach the plate and have odd stances
  13. all the teams that have beat atlanta when vick played had success when they made him run to the right, hes a different man running that way, phillys defense is fast and thier line is going to get in on vick all day, philly wins easily
  14. hinrich on smith duhon on lue deng on arrington eddy on antoine davis or harrington on collier
  15. QUOTE(ISF @ Jan 21, 2005 -> 02:49 PM) Carl's a DH. He'll only be in OF if someone gets hurt or is slumping badly. .........and if we want to take spod out and get some more power in the lineup (konerko everett thomas dye)
  16. Figuring we only have 5 outfielders, I've got: Aaron Rowand Spod J Dye Carl Everett Alex Escobar I honestly am not a big Timo fan, or maybe we could teach carl to play third base and some infield
  17. QUOTE(GreatScott82 @ Jan 21, 2005 -> 02:21 PM) El-duque isn't healthy enough this is what im worried about the most, and why he should be the fifth starter
  18. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jan 21, 2005 -> 01:17 PM) He'll be an all-star in 2005. thats if he gets to play enough, that would be nice though won't be easy to do, guess we will all have to pitch in thirty votes each
  19. At one point in the season both of the teams were considered to be the worst teams ever, until then this looks like a bigger mismatch as the bulls take on the opposing Atlanta Hawks. This should be the start of a new streak I hope. Keys to the Game: 1. As we found out last game, Gordon needs to get shots early in the game to contribute in the fourth. 2. Watch out for Antoine Walker, we've had troubles trying to guard PF's that can shoot of late, Kurt Thomas, LaFrentz (I know hes a center). 3. beat'em good (?) Go Bulls
  20. QUOTE(Texsox @ Jan 21, 2005 -> 11:40 AM) You may wish to give sex a try before the domestic violence thing . . .
  21. tough one.............. but i went with spod, mainly because he's the primary person we need to depend on in getting on base, and get steals
