  1. QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Jan 21, 2005 -> 12:16 PM) Terrible, Terrible, I pray for him and his family. amen
  2. QUOTE(S720 @ Jan 21, 2005 -> 08:23 AM) Iguchi. The Sox is waiting for Iguchi to come to them! lets hope so
  3. QUOTE(chisox05 @ Jan 21, 2005 -> 01:29 AM) Aaron Rodgers-Almost a lock at #1 until a poor showing at the holiday bowl(Ive never seen a QB throw the deep ball so well though). Could be a top NFL qb if he stays healthy and adjusts to the speed of the game. Alex Smith-Hard to read because of the shotgun happy offense. Jason Campell-Sleeper pick. Could turn out to be a solid signal caller. Dan Orlovsky-Extremely overrated. Bad accuracy and not that good of arm. "Intangibles" and "leadership" which are BS IMO are why he will be drafted. (This is not my ranking just my opinons on players i know most about) I think cambell would be well suited in the cowboys organizaton, or cardinals
  4. last time i remember, the bulls were considered biggest losers earlier in the season (or as the put it worst teams ever), now look at them playoff contention, hey call the sox what you want
  5. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Jan 20, 2005 -> 09:37 PM) I wouldn't feel anything really, it's they're opinion. I'm entitled to saying hockey sucks just like anyone else can say basketball sucks. i agree i dont watch hockey unless theres that day where nothing is on except hockey
  6. QUOTE(whitesoxin' @ Jan 20, 2005 -> 09:44 PM) The cell looks sweet. The green walls look to be in this years game, I wonder if the Fundamentals or scout seating will be on it this year. I doubt it, they should at least have added the new roof. what i was thinking
  7. QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Jan 20, 2005 -> 05:51 PM) Briggs-Urlacher-Johnson, with Harris-Ogunlye-Brown up front -- I don't think anyone except the Pats could even touch that as far as a front seven... whos number seven? i see six i think the bears would be better suited in a 3-4 defense, theyve always been a good team w/solid linebackers Patriots steelers have had huge success, and the texans surely improved with it
  8. QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Jan 19, 2005 -> 11:33 AM) This is a bit perplexing. Do you think Alex Smith is the #1 prospect in 2005, or do you think Smith is the #1 draft selection. Those are two very, very, very different things. I can't fathom any justification that Smith deserves the #1 seeding amongst the prospects. I was also a little confused as to why you have Cambell so high. number one in the draft yes, number one prospect, it could be any of my top five
  9. QUOTE(JoshPR @ Jan 20, 2005 -> 12:24 PM) Ozzie said he'll use Pods in Left so he can cover gorund and not burn his legs out so he can use his speed on the basepaths. I think it's been the 10000th times it's been discussed yeah kind of a boring topic that keeps getting posted in some way
  10. QUOTE(qwerty @ Jan 19, 2005 -> 09:07 PM) Really? I think sele is a piece of s***. I would sign him to a minor league contract and that is about it. look at the mariners other pitchers, very old and not that impressive, sele fits right in
  11. QUOTE(chisox05 @ Jan 20, 2005 -> 02:35 PM) Now, this isnt to say i like burke, cuz i really dont, but it seems as a waist of invites to invite these catchers. i agree, we should bring up some more infielders and relievers
  12. urbina, i guess hes a good alternate out of the bullpen besides politte
  13. nobodys giving willie any credit, :headshake , in the games he was hitting he would start a good streak of hits and he did very well, all he really needs to do is get more consistent when playing on an everyday basis
  14. QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Jan 18, 2005 -> 03:30 PM) Didn't the Twins agree to terms wth Silva? Anywho, the Twins deserve to be favorites until proven otherwise. They have dominated the AL Central the past 3 seasons. They do everything the right way and flat-out win. We should not be the favorites. i was going to say something similar but you beat me
  15. QUOTE(Steff @ Jan 20, 2005 -> 02:10 PM) Why aren't the roofs on Red Roof Inns red..? maybe they were but the rain washed the paint out
  16. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Jan 20, 2005 -> 02:22 PM) That's why it's funny he accepted this. He had a better offer on the table from a less desperate team when it comes to pitching. The Nationals appear to need pitching more and they didn't offer him as much, and he took it. hed post better stats with the nationals anyways in my opinion, being that he'll be the second starter most likely
  17. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Jan 19, 2005 -> 07:28 AM) I'm suprised he settled for this though. The Dodgers were rumored to have offered him $9 million over 2 years before they signed Derek Lowe. lets remember the dogers have better pitchers and hed probably be a number three behind lowe and perez, nationals, lets see all they have is livan and ? no one else that comes to mind
  18. QUOTE(Mace Windu @ Jan 19, 2005 -> 04:51 PM) Good to see some of the younger guys gettin called up again. it always is, ive always liked watching new faces in spring training
  19. QUOTE(SoxAce @ Jan 19, 2005 -> 10:25 PM) I Pedro Lopez. One of my favorite minor league players. i agree but, cant say i " " him
  20. QUOTE(santo=dorf @ Jan 18, 2005 -> 10:05 PM) I say Garland is the number 5, and Contreras is #4 but I would start Contreras on the 3rd game of the season because of how well he pitched against the Indians last season, and Orlando "Big Game pitcher" Hernandez should start the first game of the Twins series. i agree with you totally
  21. well at least we can rebound hopefully against the hawks
  22. every guy on the sixers wants to hog the ball, sprewell garnett, cassell, they have too many playmakers, they need a guy who will pass the ball around, the bulls have that in duhon and hinrich which is why were better, plus we can shoot downlow
  23. lets remember, who was the last reliever the cubs got who was good? williamson will be the same story
  24. in case you didnt remember guys, the bulls had a five days rest during the holidays, came back and played milwaukee and were rusty and we lost the celtics may be rusty also, not getting some game action for FIVE DAYS!!!! Mark my word, streak will live, and if not we have the lousy hawks
