QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Jan 9, 2005 -> 12:05 AM) You can have Ray Durham, Tadahito Iguchi, Rob Machowiak or Alex Cora. why does everyone want alex cora, hes not that good hate to break it to ya, i really dont want him cora= :puke
-
omg, this would be a good move he can play like every position he can hit and hes a cub killer, what more do you need
-
i would have rather gotten money out of the deal instead of some snub minor league player ive never heard of
-
sounds like a smart idea to me, trade for byrnes then trade him and garland to arizona for vaquez, whats wrong with that we get an excellent pitcher and basically use byrnes for trade bait
-
i wouldnt mind having rollins durham or any second basemen, i think anything is really an upgrade over harris besides alex cora

QUOTE(GreatScott82 @ Jan 10, 2005 -> 04:06 PM) Who cares if he ends up with the Cubs. In fact the Cubs are looking more and more like the 2000-2004 Sox. Waaaayyyy too many right handed power hitters. And we only went to the playoffs ONCE! and got swept. Yea i guess the Cubs have better pitching then we had during those days, but right handed power hitters always go in major slumps as we witnessed during that era, and how can pitchers win 2-0 all the time? So for all of you Sox fans who will be pissed if Maggs goes there, DONT be. It might look good op paper, but it only turns out to be dissapointing seasons.

all we have to do is stop j rich and this is a done deal

QUOTE(babybearhater @ Jan 10, 2005 -> 01:36 PM) For some reason, even thought I dont like him, I think that Willie may succeed better with this lineup around him. I dont think he felt natural in the lead off role, and I think with some more players around him, and another season, he may improve on not only his base stealing, but his hitting as well. his defense, as far as I am concerned, is good enough if not better than most of the guys out there. Lets see what this lineup will get us marlins sort of have somewhat of a similar build in thelineup as the sox do now, i dont think it would make a difference of what team willie goes to whether it is the marlins As or other

Golden State the team that wanted curry but said he was too much of a publicity stunt to the media, well the jokes on you Golden State and now your in the middle of the Bulls way, I like the Bulls making this number 4. Bulls should be able to push away the warriors and their main man richardson and beat up on them pretty easily.

QUOTE(beck72 @ Jan 10, 2005 -> 11:56 AM) PREFERS RANGERS But The Fort Worth Star-Telegram has reported that Delgado would like to play for the Rangers, and the Mets are in a spending spree that might not end when they finalize their deal with Beltran. this would equal no castillo if he went to the rangers

QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Jan 10, 2005 -> 12:19 PM) I'd rather have Ray back instead of getting Eric. i dont see why anyone wouldnt, we need a 2b more than an of

QUOTE(AssHatSoxFan @ Dec 3, 2004 -> 02:36 PM) go conant! amen -
i hope they release booker and then we get him, then we wouldnt need to draft a wide receiver in the draft, we could get a linebacker because i really dont like odom or hillenmeyer
-
even if the bulls do make the playoffs, there first matchup would most likely be against the heat and thats not a very easy matchup
-
QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Jan 10, 2005 -> 12:28 AM) Reminds me of the Mets and Orioles...cept the Mets might actually be decent this year. yeah i think the mets will be good if they can get another bat besides beltran.

QUOTE(thomsonmi @ Jan 7, 2005 -> 12:38 PM) Both Delgado and Vazquez will cost over $10 million each per year. So, the answer is NO f***ING WAY would this be considered. The only way Vazquez was coming here was if the Yankees were paying some of that salary. The Yankees are now out of the picture and I can't imagine the broke Diamondbacks being willing to pay some of his salary. This isn't happening. End of story. i dont hink we would have enough space in our cap anyway
