QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Apr 17, 2006 -> 12:07 AM) assuming pacers/bucks/bulls all finish with the same record. If they lose one and we win our last 2 we can move up. That we can I think our best chance is winding up playing Cleveland or New Jersey
-
Two years in a row in the playoffs nice accomplishment by this young squad, hopefully we can move up a couple spots so we dont face Detroit
-
Huge for my fantasy teams, probably one of the greatest players in the game.

Any win is good in my books, and Thome is still on a tear. Go Sox

QUOTE(Kalapse @ Apr 11, 2006 -> 02:42 PM) ^^^ Hafner cripples your lineup by only being available at UTIL, Howard should put up similar power numbers to Hafner but with a significantly lower batting average. Adkins will turn out to be very valuable by the end of the season, you're better off keeping the two. Heres how i looked at it, theres seven teams in the league, so pretty much every team has superstars at every position im sure he can find someone at third in FA to replace atkins and this isnt a keeper so it makes sense. Im in an 8 man league and theres some good 3B that i could just go and grab right out of free agency. Theres got to be a decent replacement for atkins. Id like to know some of the free agents, but its your team im not clicking the button on the mouse to make it happen.

QUOTE(hammerhead johnson @ Apr 11, 2006 -> 09:57 AM) Playoffs? This rotation f***ing sucks: B. Sheets D. Davis T. Ohka C. Capuano D. Bush R. Helling (Insurance) Check out some Doug Davis splits from 2005. His WHIP ratio away from Milwaukee was 1.45, which is pretty much terrible. Capuano's WHIP ratio away from Milwaukee was 1.43. Ohka is just beyond brutal. David Bush is their second best starter, and what does that tell you? Really, this staff belongs in Kansas City or Tampa Bay. Don't tell me that they have a shot at making the playoffs, even if the National League is a suckfest. Capuano and davis always seem to be pretty consistent and in the past couple years they have had some solid games, davis is this teams second starter and Bush pitched well his first start, I dont see why they cant make the playoffs im just not sold on their team because its young.

tiger is still tiger and golf is still golf, woods no contest
-
no, torii is a solid player but costly and we should keep some youth in our system
-
um this is a biased poll obviousl thome will win
-
accept it, hafner is a stud this year, see if you can pick up ryan freel, otherwise just go with lowell, he should put up decent numbers with the bosox

Sources: Texans, Moulds close to deal

QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Apr 11, 2006 -> 01:00 AM) If someone offered them the #2 and #3 picks, I think they'd still probably take Bush. Texans probably would still draft him. I just dont see the need for a running back, they have davis and wells who are consistent, the smart thing would be to trade down and get dbrick, but with the number one pick they will most likely take bush. Who knows maybe they have some offensive linemen in mind for their secound round pick. -

QUOTE(Cuck the Fubs @ Apr 10, 2006 -> 02:42 PM) Plenty. The Tribe could've stumbled out of the gate and not recovered And have they no, tribe cant complain they are in first place and they have lots of young talent to make up for the loss of crisp.
