I don't know..I'm still not feeling too comfortable with this offense...Yea we lost Carlos...Mags...Valentin...our boppers...but our bottom of the lineup has question marks...Like everyone loves Aaron Rowand...but is he really a number 2 hitter..with his power and average speed..he could be a #6 hitter...I mean I don't know why everyone keeps putting aaron as the number 2 hitter...Can Aaron bunt? I don't KNOW...that's not his game. Scenario: Leadoff walk Spods..Aaron get him over...bunt? hmmm..question mark there? Then Ben Davis is like an automatic out everytime to the plate...Harris has speed..but will he be consistent? Uribe..average ball-player...he had one good month last year...Thomas injuries are a question mark...Dye the same...Now if we grab AJ Pierzinski that will change a lot of things because he could put a spark in ur offense a little more..And just think what that would do to the twins..grabbing their old catcher...HEY TORII TRY RUNNING OVER PIERZINSKI INSTEAD OF BURKE!!! Hey our pitching staff is pretty good right now with a rotation of Garcia, Beuhrle, Contreras, Garland...Bullpen is strong with Marte, Takatsu, Vizcaino, Hermanson, and Politte...But compare the teams...You know the Twins are gonna be there...The Indians and Tigers too..Yea its too early to tell, but do we have what it takes to win with Guillen, the coaching staff, and the 40 men on the field..Can the Sox ever be a contender with JR as the owner or will we continue to be pretenders?

I am gonna take Willie Harris...Why? Cause I believe this is his year to shine...He has been up the last couple seasons..Basically was full-time last year at 2nd base..and with Spods who can steal bases..Tim Raines the first base coach..he will inherit some of the techniques on getting good jumps and reading the pitcher..This is a guy who a lot of teams will forget about because they'll be worried about SPods...It's ur year Willie!

For some reason I think AJ got 4 or 5 million last year..I have no idea how we would afford him if we signed clement...

But Boston's got the money..now with Pedro gone..even though they just signed renteria..they'll do whatever it takes to sign him..I think for Clement its going to come down to either more money or stay in Chicago for his wife..

Yea guys I think it is Boston who has a big offer on the table...Boston is dying to replace Pedro and they tried grabbing Clement last year..I hope Kenny's got something up his sleeve..but I really think Boston is going to grab him..

Personally I like the Perez..Pierzinski trade..it gives us a pitcher and a catcher

I would love to see the whole Perez..Pierzinski thing happen..It would give us a solid left handed starter...along with Beuhrle...then a catcher which we haven't had in who knows how long..This is just my opinion...

I thought Miguel Olivo was supposed to be our future..Kenny loved him...Nothing would surprise me with Kenny...

Does anyone here think that the Diamondbacks, knowing they are in debt, feel pressure in trading Johnson now because of the signing of Glaus and Ortiz? I mean where in the hell did they get money for these players? But maybe they did it because they were positive that they could unload Johnson to eith the Yankees or the Sox...Cause Ortiz and Glaus would make up Johnson's salary and also add a little..

That would be a terrible trade for the cubs...they'd get nothing from that trade..julio is an inconsistent closer...and hairston..geez i havent heard anything about him in the last couple years..but again sosa...God I hate the f***in Cubs anyway! :fthecubs

REMEMBER LAST OFFSEASON..Marte took like the whole offseason off...instead of working on his mechanics...I wonder if that had anything to do with his fastball being down last year..Also we overwork that guy..He's in there everyday...

Yea thats true plus it gives us a catcher..and a starting pitcher..and we keep rowand..and marte for next year...but if we lose out on any of those pitchers..i could see kenny pulling the trigger on a trade...But I guess my question is..how long does Kenny wait to make such a deal happen..either by trade or signing?

I know everyone loves Aaron including myself...But if we land RJ we'd have a better shot at getting into the playoffs and def. overtaking the central...Our defense would get weaker....But Everett could play left..SPods in center...Dye in right..but think of our pitching rotation...Randy Johnson, Freddy Garcia, Mark Beuhrle, Jose Contreras, and Dustin Hermanson...Bullpen then Vizcaino..Politte..Takatsu Lineup then: SPods Uribe Thomas Konerko Dye Everett Crede Davis Harris

I love Aaron Rowand...but if it means getting Randy Johnson..I am all for it..only because I am tired of waiting till next year with this team..and pitching wins championships...If there is some way we can give them someone other than Marte..Randy Johnson for Rowand...Sweeney...another relief pitcher
