  1. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Mar 4, 2006 -> 03:17 PM) Well, hwatever Ozzie did, it sure seemed to work out all right in the end last year. Can't say there's any reason to rush guys into it this early in the spring, especially after the late October games last year. Oh I know. I don't care if we go 0 for our first 13. THey don't count and don't matter. Just saying that we will never look particularly great under Ozzie in ST. Don't matter to me at all.
  2. QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ Mar 4, 2006 -> 03:08 PM) I agree. Don't enjoy watching these ass whoopings. Don't enjoy seemingly every pitcher, roster spot assured of not, give up runs. BTW, nice job for Tucker to give up a single to a lefthander. He's useless. LOL, well you better get used to it under Ozzie. He plays the kids a whole lot, doesn't put pitchers in order to try and win, and plays stupid lineups depending on who he wants to see that day. I doubt Ozzie's teams will ever perform well in ST.
  3. LOL. Iguchi's like why the hell do i gotta be out here with these bozos?
  4. QUOTE(AWhiteSoxinNJ @ Mar 3, 2006 -> 06:24 PM) Hope this is in the right forum, but I signed up for MLB.TV last year and I still can sign in and watch some of the Spring Training games. My question is if anyone else bought it last can still do that or if I'm going to be billed for this coming season? Or am I lucky and they never cancealled my subscription? I got an email that said they will continue my subscription. I would imagine they will do that unless you tell them to cancel.
  5. Gonna be tough for that lineup to do much damage. And the game isn't on mlb.tv or mlb audio. neither of the two.
  6. Redding wasn't the one who got rocked. IT was Almanza. He could only get one out. Redding only gave up the bomb.
  7. QUOTE(fathom @ Mar 1, 2006 -> 02:48 PM) Between Contreras getting shelled, Vazquez's mechanics, McCarthy giving up a ton of hits the other day, and the fact that Buehrle isn't an ace........WE'RE IN TROUBLE! There it is!
  8. QUOTE(Jordan4life_2006 @ Mar 1, 2006 -> 02:43 PM) Jose with a wild pitch. Not sharp at all this inning. LOL. It's not an outing if he doesn't have a willlllllllllllllld pitch.
  9. QUOTE(Jordan4life_2006 @ Mar 1, 2006 -> 02:35 PM) Here comes the 06 Rookie of The Year. Sarcasm. The fact that he hit the first two HR off of Felix will be part of a trivia question when he's a superstar (Felix that is)
  10. Singleton crushed us at Tampa last year. I was there. We lost 2 of 3. Figures. I've still always liked slowswing.
  11. QUOTE(fathom @ Mar 1, 2006 -> 02:29 PM) No way jphat, I'm saving those comments for the regular season. I know, this is weird. I can't start b****ing about Ozzie, and you can't start saying every out was tough luck. You pessimistic bastard! LOL
  12. Cmon fathom. Post something that I can argue with. won't be an official game thread until you do
  13. JC is gonna go 26-2 with a 1.36 ERA this year.....
  14. Damn. Paulie is supposed to crush those pitches! We overpaid!!!!!!!! Thank goodness baseball is back!!!
  15. QUOTE(Jordan4life_2006 @ Mar 1, 2006 -> 02:15 PM) Not what I like to hear. Only 1 at bat I guess. You are joking right? Just to be sure.
  16. Does anybody know if we won the intrasquad game today? I'm practically busting with anticipation as I await the score..." Can't wait for Wednesday!
  17. QUOTE(White Sox Josh @ Feb 26, 2006 -> 05:34 PM) fatass? 6 months ago he was god around here? Am I the only Frank Thomas fan left? I'm a fan of the CHicago White Sox way before I'm a fan of Frank Thomas.
  18. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Feb 26, 2006 -> 04:54 PM) Boz, would you have really had a problem with when Kenny saying " We are focused on 2006, and Frank isnt a part of it. Next question" Take the high road for once guys. We are the Champs. Lets set an example for the rest of the league, instead of having countless distractions pop up for no reason. KW has taken the high road for a long, long time wrt Frank. Enough was finally enough for the guy. WHat distractions are there going to be? We don't have any games for a month.
  19. QUOTE(aboz56 @ Feb 26, 2006 -> 04:51 PM) He bit his tongue for so many weeks. It was totally over. Then Frank started it again. Do you expect him to just say nothing. After a while when people say ridiculous things, someone will respond. I really have no problem with this. Frank does need to shut his mouth and worry about himself. The guy is damn near retirement and he needs to realize that. He is completely in outer space if he thinks he is in his prime. He talks about 12 home runs in 105 at bats? Is he forgetting his was absolutely horrible besides that? He is a liability on any team. He can't field and he can't run. And he can't keep his damn mouth shut. Have fun being a distraction all year in Oakland. And when he gets no PT out there because he is damn near crippled, he'll act like a victim there too. Amen. It's not like it's going to affect how we play on the field. At some point enough is enough for everybody, and KW was tired of it. I think it's great.
