  1. Guessing bears may get late cover or push though
  2. Well. Seems like we are a team that is hard to blow out because we play bend don't break defense and run a slow pace on offense, but the games aren't close because of talent. Need 2-3 more playmakers, especially at S/CB
  3. Langford just is not impressive. Goes down immediately. Prefer Howard/Carey
  4. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Sep 11, 2016 -> 02:26 PM) Fox should of challenged the spot. They wouldn't win, they don't overturn inches
  5. If the Bears employed no kick returner they'd be better off than with deonte Thompson
  6. I have a feeling white won't get a target rest of game
  7. Man I can't stand how we always start behind the touchback starting point on special teams kickoff
  8. I hate the way Hub Arkush tweets Osweiler better start pulling the trigger quicker or there will be more picks to come! ^Arkush tweet
  9. Is the main camera on the fox feed kinda garbage for others?
  10. Great series! Alshon alshon and great oline play!
  11. I'm just soaking this in. Our offense was never good even against our FCS teams last year. Was fun to get 61. Though Ark state prolly better than easternmich
  12. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Sep 10, 2016 -> 02:55 PM) And apparently the refs f***ed up and the play shouldn't have happened. Even better. Yeah what was deal? On clip I saw, play started at zero so I figured t was some defensive penalty.
  13. How much of your coverage do you devote to the bachelor and 9/11 conspiracies?
  14. Yeah. Sad.
  15. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Sep 9, 2016 -> 03:18 PM) Also an indictment of society for that being what started trending and not any real issues. I don't think "trending" is a standard for anything. While its coverage may not hit what some would expect for its carnage, it has been in stalemate for years and also a major foreign policy topic for that time. Now that a ceasefire has been established maybe Syria will be trending but not sure that's that important.
  16. That's the best news.
  17. QUOTE (Ezio Auditore @ Sep 9, 2016 -> 02:00 PM) It's so fitting that "Aleppo" was trending yesterday because a politician said something dumb, and the humanitarian crisis in Aleppo was only tangenitally related and was already forgotten by the next day, isn't it? Yeah that too, but all the fake "experts" that popped up yesterday "How could you not know aleppo it's the epicenter of ZIKA"
  18. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Sep 8, 2016 -> 09:42 PM) "Mr. Roosevelt, what do you think about what's happening in Warsaw?" The President needs to know what's going on all the time in the geo-political stage. Gary had a blunder, but let's not act like it's anything more than that. He clearly knows about the Syrian conflict. He just had a brain fart. I got a laugh out of it due to his "oh shiiiiiiit" face, but there's really nothing more to it. As for Jill Stein, she vandalized property. She's facing consequences. Also simple as that. It's an indictment of the media that they feel so enabled to attack "gaffes" but don't know how to attack lies or inane ideas
  19. I know know, Chisox. Keenum has now played 16 games in the NFL. He's completed 56.7% of his passes for 3000 yards, 15tds, 9 interceptions and 8 fumbles. He is clearly better than, say, Jimmy Claussen, but that is replacement level production, not far different from Blaine Gabbert last year or Josh McCown. Goff may be worse now, but probably not THAT much worse, and to spend that much to get him, you ahve to believe he'll be better soon. But instead you are basically ensring he gets no real or practice reps, putting him at 3rd string. That's just poor
  20. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 9, 2016 -> 01:21 PM) Except for how they actually got their nuclear technology... Right, not saying they are harmless, but forceful removal is not an option. Geographically they are easier to handle than Pakistan. China is not irrational. They don't want a west-backed full korean peninsula next to them, or an anarchy they have to take care of. They don't care enough about nuclear NK to force an issue with NK over this, but if NK ever starts stepping on China's toes than we may see movement.
  21. QUOTE (Ezio Auditore @ Sep 9, 2016 -> 01:08 PM) I always think it's funny when people say this. Of course Putin is a strong leader! He's basically a dictator and he's either killed or banned his opposition, made all media state-controlled, and ended private polling in his country. That's the whole point of being a dictator! To want to emulate this says... a lot It's just funny that outputs don't matter in that equation. Doesn't matter that Russia's economy has tanked, that businesses are not investing in it for fear of gov't thuggery taking it over, that they are more isolated than ever. All that matters is maintains his power through force. That's strength! Their psy ops, intel, cold war tools, they ARE all impressive. Their disruption with minimal means IS impressive. But, I don't know, I'd rather have a functioning economy and free gov't. My pref.
  22. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 9, 2016 -> 01:05 PM) The biggest danger with NK is them doing exactly what Pakistan did with their nuclear technology. The big problem is NK needs the money, a whole lot of countries and organizations out there who would love to have the technology. They are not feckless but the best option is to continue to monitor them, isolate them, make things difficult for them to do everything. But unless China says "yes we are fine with intervention and rebuilding" then it isn't going to happen.
