  1. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Apr 6, 2015 -> 04:05 PM) If KC is getting all the luck (duck snorts, etc.) already, theyre gonna have another nice season. Helps that they don't do stupid things like miss cutoff men all the time, and can run the basepaths.
  2. QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ Apr 6, 2015 -> 03:47 PM) I'm at work wtf happened ont he double play? would have been hard to complete. throw by samardjiza was away from 2b, hard runner slid into johnson. Main issue was horrible throw to abreu (or catch) on a double by perez.
  3. QUOTE (Mike F. @ Apr 6, 2015 -> 03:46 PM) This is pathetic. lol.
  4. QUOTE (chw42 @ Apr 6, 2015 -> 03:10 PM) Just to be that guy...I don't think the Sox have had a ton of luck opening in KC. I still remember how we blew that opener in 2004 because our bullpen melted down. well, it's been 11 years.
  5. After the game I started looking at "where are they nows', yedlin is hidden on the bench and apparently Green is throwing a hissy fit and is on the U23 for hamburg. Not the progress they hoped for I'm sure.
  6. QUOTE (SnB @ Apr 6, 2015 -> 11:24 AM) His pace is absurd and his first touches were great. The fire have been missing someone like him for awhile now. Hopefully this makes them watchable. There were games last year where they couldn't advance it out of their own end even with possession. Saturday they could just kick it out (not even accurately) and he would run it down and wreak havoc. Was awesome to watch. He also never tired down.
  7. I stopped playing the game situation in OOTP and it's a lot more fun now.
  8. I watched some last night with my wife, who finds baseball on tv incredibly boring. She and I both thought ESPN has been doing a great job of audio editing and cut aways around the park. I wish comcast could get a sound mix as good as ESPNs, but without their commentary crew.
  9. QUOTE (shipps @ Apr 6, 2015 -> 10:29 AM) I was so pumped about your post for no damn reason? I feel violated by misinformation! I feel like we've been very good last 10 years regardless. Chris Sale has kinda helped that the last few years.
  10. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Apr 6, 2015 -> 10:20 AM) Wasn't one of the losses in KC, with Billy Koch blowing the game in Ozzie's debut as a manager? I think he said he told the team to go out and get drunk after the game. The circus was open. D'oh, my data's wrong. Baseball Almanac counts opening day always as the home opener.
  11. White Sox have been very good on OD in this century. Currently sitting 12-2.
  12. QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Apr 6, 2015 -> 02:41 AM) My predictions for tomorrow.... Sox win 6-3. Shark allows 2 HR early, we all freak out, but he goes 6 innings and strikes out 9. Avi and LaRoche homer, Abreu a pair of doubles, Micah steals 2 bags, and Robertson gets a shaky save with runners on base. I would kinda freak out if Shark gives up dingers to the Royals of all teams.
  13. Yeah after being a big proponent of cubs being better being good for all of Chicago baseball, we are 45 minutes in and I already can't stand it. My Twitter feed is at Card fan playoff levels.
  14. Well, for anyone that has been watching, Niko has been closing the games. So who cares if he starts.
  15. You want to see what will be difficult for Bulls in playoffs: Jimmy and Niko will not get to the line.
  16. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Apr 5, 2015 -> 04:53 PM) Watson Thanks, yes.
  17. QUOTE (chw42 @ Apr 5, 2015 -> 04:39 PM) The Cavs are better ATM. It all depends on which Rose comes back. As good as the Cavs are offensively, they're not good defensively. Regardless of which rose gets back, Aaron Brooks is just not capable of defending or getting to his spots in the offense against 25/30 teams in this league. He is the worst PG we've had backup Rose since CJ Miles. The fairy dust is over, they need a legit backup since, they usually don't have a starter.
  18. Last year on opening day, Gillaspie was our 3 spot.
  19. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Apr 5, 2015 -> 03:47 PM) Well, should be fun losing to LeBron in round two once again. Really should've dealt Noah after last year's peak season for assets. The Bulls would be foolish not to shop Gasol after his rebirth. He won't likely repeat this performance next year. Gasol has a no trade clause. Also, good to know the regular season is only an indicator of the playoffs when the bulls lose.
  20. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Apr 5, 2015 -> 01:15 AM) Yup. People so quickly forgot that he had a hell of a stretch for the Sox. He would have earned that money without question had the injury never happened. That being said, the injury did happen and if he's not even #5 starter quality come May, I hope the Sox will be ready to eat that money and move on . He was great. His extension did come out of nowhere though, at a time we thought we were going to start getting rid of talent. Wish we would have waited, but he was a great pitcher. These things happen.
  21. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Apr 5, 2015 -> 07:39 AM) You suck. This is obviously true.
  22. poor Quintana. He either needs to grow his hair out our get even worse run support for people to notice him.
