  1. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Sep 15, 2014 -> 03:03 AM) Trestman offensive genius status taking a huge hit tonight. I miss the days when we thought he was just an offensive coordinator.
  2. Honestly I'm guessing the trestman experience ends with three years of no playoffs, his firing and hiring of some meathead Rex Ryan character and we are where we were 20 years ago.
  3. Trestman is such a great coach. Our players are so disciplined. They play great d and special teams and have amazing offensive game plans.
  4. Check out this amazing analysis by Michael C Wright: https://twitter.com/mikecwright/status/511329299836989440
  5. This is some excellent play calling by the whiz Trestman.
  6. That's why Conte is starting. No other safety on this team has that ability.
  7. Yep. If we are not gonna have an rb back there, you gotta get open. These dudes playing after not practicing all week is basically not helping. Though I'm glad Marshall can play on one leg and still remember to drop every pass.
  8. QUOTE (nitetrain8601 @ Sep 15, 2014 -> 02:30 AM) Bad call. Thing is, this Bears offense is a fraud seemingly. Rodgers has guys in and out and he still gets the system going. Flynn even made the offense look good. The Bears? Nope. 2 straight weeks when they were supposed to have a high powered offense and it looks like it's powered by a lawn mower. The defense, well you already know they suck. Their line still looks terrible despite having different players. I just don't see any hope for this team. I feel like part of this is cutler. He doesn't throw to players he doesn't trust. If you throw in Bellamy he just wouldn't look his way. Ie he doesn't trust the offense to work.
  9. Kinda pumped that the bears d just went heads up and stopped them.
  10. QUOTE (Jake @ Sep 15, 2014 -> 02:17 AM) If they can't run, bench them. We can't run the Kyle Orton offense today It would actually be great if we tried to hold possession and gain 10 at a time. But his isn't that. Added by our great receivers constant drops.
  11. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Sep 15, 2014 -> 02:15 AM) How is that not a penalty? Tackling an offensive player is not a penalty.
  12. It was nice to remember for a second what it felt like to have an opportunistic d that could flip a game on a dime. Was a mirage though.
  13. QUOTE (Jake @ Sep 15, 2014 -> 02:02 AM) Defense actually looks fairly competitive to me. Just can't make those backbreaking mistakes That's kind of a key thing that bad defenses and poorly coached teams do
  14. The bears don't get penalized often but choose to do it at the worst effing times
  15. Yeah I think he anticipated the other wr to get it and him be blocking by then.
  16. QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 15, 2014 -> 12:48 AM) This team looks like they know they had no chance tonight. The play calling is so conservative, which seems like a terrible strategy given this defense. This is how I feel.
  17. Thank you for kicking out of end zone so he didn't return it to the four yard line.
  18. Decamillis reigns supreme. Glad we know we can stop watching right away.
