I think the worst part was justifying the light sentence with discussing how great a guy Ray Rice was, and obviously letting that press conference happen with Baltimore. They could have had that sentence and still hid behind a veil of re-examining the punishments for domestic violence, and that they took the matter seriously. Instead it was "he is a first time offender and understands his mistakes and is going to correct them. Great guy. Total class act."

Well if it makes you feel any better, my optimism for mizzou basketball recruiting under Anderson from August 1st to now has fallen off a cliff.

The going rate for QB is expensive and will continue to get more expensive. 15million isn't great but it is what it is at this point. McCown is old, has been out of the league before, and does not have a long history of this sort of success.

This also happens to be a common situation for victims of domestic violence, whereas victims of drunk driving tend to get the sympathy they deserve. People don't act like it was their fault.
