That's one of the reasons I think Obama has worked hard to shut out other groups, but moveOn continues to try and push it's relevance because they have a really big email list and they like to show it off.

I'm fairly certain that when the national speed limit was 55 mph, they saw a dropoff in highway fatalities while a negligible decline in gas.
