  1. So what people would do then is just not sh*tpost.
  2. I both agree with this but also this is just the price of pitching.
  3. Same AAV as herrerra.
  4. Whew, I had not really followed him last year. I loved him out of high school (because he would always end up drafted by me in OOTP) but seemed like he wasn't doing much his first few years. His AAA numbers are insane.
  5. Man check out the stats against his slider .152 BAA / .265 Slugging, 47% Whiff
  6. I think sox were definitely going to add 2 sp this offseason due to the innings limits on kopech and wanting to avoid a situation like this year where they straight up ran out of pitchers. I still don't think this is sox (could be brewers) but getting a cheap with upside pitcher and 2 years control is possible.
  7. 5.7 mill projected in arb is pretty nice.
  8. Feinsand is an mlb writer, I'm 100% confident it's just promoting colleagues work.
  9. The interesting thing on Urias was he started showing huge power in AAA but it wasn't translating in a SSS in majors. I think it could have huge upside if brewers tap into that.
  10. I think that's mostly because Feinsand is a mlb.com writer.
  11. Posting because there was that one terrible trade proposal. I doubt this is for the white sox.
  12. Interesting trade. I like it for Brewers though Davies obviously had a good year and was a starter.
  13. All valid. I just think it's worth exploring supplementing the offense with additional contact and seeing if sequencing improves. I'd prefer quite a few but if Reddick could come with additional benefit to sox I'd look into it.
  14. I'm probably alone in thinking engel is actually worthwhile in this role. I do think as a platoon he'd be more than adequate and the defense is worthwhile. I think sox should see what Kendrick is looking for this offseason. Gets us a great veteran, great bat, can get us to Madrigal, and he has played a small amount of outfield, otherwise can be shifted around our dh/1b/2b positions.

Just fwiw I'm dealing with same thing, just tried clearing cache and didn't work. Seems like dns hasn't made its way through yet. Very annoying. Edit: It works on my mobile chrome but not safari. So weird.

I'd clear your mobile cache. It's kind of a pain but mobile browsers often heavily rely on cache and it can be annoying for stuff like this.
  17. Baseball players are going to play baseball. You can't store these guys in pillows off the field. He seems to have learned a lot in this league previously.
  18. Who needs to steal when you can bunt?
  19. I would just ask: - The value of haniger is increased because of his low $ cost - What are the white sox going to do with that extra value in the rest of the roster. I'd be more ok giving assets for him if we got Cole/Stras. He's good not great.
  20. I think getting pederson assures more appearances for Engel against LHP tbh.
  21. If we get wheeler and push into a good bullpen, I would be okay with Reddick (again, apologies to @caulfield12) This would be to push into a big signing of Springer/Betts next year. I am attracted to adding his 10% walk rate/12%k rate to our lineup, though for some reason I expect that k rate to go up.......... It's not plan A, obviously.
  22. That's true, but there may be a decent chunk of change difference. I'd be so thrilled with Stras. I think a lot of nats players have been underrated as harper sucked the attention. Stras has had some injuries but he's been so freaking consistently good when he's played.
  23. just a show of hands, does anyone find the bolding and italics formatting helpful in reading caulfields ENTIRE POSTING OF ARTICLES
  24. Eh the twins stuff is actually just a bunch of aggregation based on a heyman tweet https://www.sny.tv/yankees/news/latest-on-yankees-free-agent-target-zack-wheeler-very-high-on-the-twins-list/311931954
