  1. This is my "max pitching" offseason. @CaliSoxFanViaSWside @wsox05 what do you think? Tendered everyone sans Yolmer, Osich, Goins. Massive updates had to happen. Wheeler/McHugh main pitching upgrades.
  2. Pederson, Betts, Springer 2020 free agents. There are reasons to "shore up" the offense this year while taking advantage of its good pitching class.
  3. Happy for Rizzo. He put together a lot of good teams that just didn’t make sense why they couldn’t break through. They are a more old school org, yet are unbelievably better than Sox at FA and intl.
  4. That’s as high as it will go but it’s also a deal you don’t “think twice” about
  5. Caulfield this is one of your best posts
  6. That’s what everyone said about Hosmer.
  7. Considering the struggles we’ve seen from mid season acquisitions I think it was pretty good.
  8. I agree. And him performing that well with the insane HR environment pushing his HR rate to career highs, I’m more convinced he can sustain. But we will see what plays out. More suitors this year, but way more pitchers.
  9. Ryu on a high AAV short term deal is interesting but I think he’ll just end back up in LA.
  10. I want like 15 different pitchers and keep switching up which ones to get. Great FA pitcher year.
  11. Yeah to be clear I’m pro McHugh, but deep down I’d like a heavier 1-2 punch AND McHugh and deal with offense later. like Wheeler, keuchel and McHugh.
  12. If you had to guess you think he will sign for the same amount as Patrick corbin. I’ll take the over
  13. The idea that strasburg will be a bargain over Cole is crazy. Dude will get 8 years if he opts out. He wouldn’t opt out for a 5 year deal. 7 or 8. Not 5
  14. Their second pitcher will probably be a “redemption guy”, I don’t think others will necessarily sign on knowing they could be replaced in August.
  15. I've wondered how Cincinatti is going to play this offseason. Whether they splurge just trying to improve that weak offense in a year where their pitching looks solid.
  16. I recognize those odds are better but I'm still sticking with Nats here.
  17. Saying he will become a free agent doesn't mean he won't re-sign with Nats.
  18. There is no reason for you to be so confident as to put others on blast. His pessimistic plan still has them signing $40 mills worth of players and some higher level in odorizzi and McHugh. It’s not that outlandish.
