  1. QUOTE(SleepyWhiteSox @ Jun 4, 2005 -> 03:26 PM) I'm still seeing weather warnings. Maybe I'm not that big of an idiot... No, no you are.....
  2. QUOTE(qwerty @ Jun 4, 2005 -> 03:24 PM) This is old school. I love it. I always liked how koch wore his socks. I love the high socks.
  3. Jon got away with a hanging slider there, good thing it got in enough, however last years martinez crushes that ball.
  4. QUOTE(CubsSuck1 @ Jun 4, 2005 -> 12:53 PM) Beleive it or not, this could actually do a lot for the sport of college baseball. That's actually a great point. It sucks that there won't be any mvp but I'd definitely buy the college baseball game.
  5. QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Jun 4, 2005 -> 03:18 PM) I'd like to see Scott hit a home run. I know that's not his job but I just want to see his trot. Gotta love the high stepping.
  6. QUOTE(Jeckle2000 @ Jun 4, 2005 -> 03:13 PM) Why would you want Crede bunting here... 1) he's not good at it... 2) chances are pods isn't going to hit a sac fly... Never said I wanted him to but I thought ozzie would have him and about Pods I think he's been successful everytime but once getting a man in from 3rd with less then 2 outs.
  7. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Jun 4, 2005 -> 03:12 PM) Lets see if Crede can get down a bunt. Or not, guess ozzie learned crede can't bunt.
  8. QUOTE(qwerty @ Jun 4, 2005 -> 03:10 PM) You didn't but to say his fastball has had alot of movement this year is just silly as hell to me. If his movement was so great he would get some people to chase his pitches. Instead they just sit there and wave at the pitches as they go by them no where near the zone. 95 mile an hour vizcaino = solid. 91-92 mile an vizcaino = makes my head hurt watching him pitch. Well we're just going to have to agree to disagree, imo his fastball still has plenty of movement he's just getting it in the wrong spots and not throwing it enough, we'll just leave it at that.
  9. QUOTE(Jeckle2000 @ Jun 4, 2005 -> 03:05 PM) Garland better get his act together fast or else he'll find himself traded...
  10. QUOTE(qwerty @ Jun 4, 2005 -> 02:55 PM) Has any sox player of done bad in your eyes? Ton of sink on his fastball? He either sinks it right down the middle of the plate or way out of the strike zone. No in between with this guy. When did I say he's doing good?? He's been terrible, I'm saying his fastball still has a lot of sink on it but yes you're right when he's thrown it, it has been down the middle of the plate and that is one reason he's been getting hit, however he still needs to use it more to set up his slider which is his best pitch.
  11. QUOTE(Soxnbears01 @ Jun 4, 2005 -> 02:59 PM) i think the other guy is more like "what everyone else thinks of us" and DJ is informing him of what he sees/what we think everyday. I'm enjoying it. It's good dialogue.
  12. Jermaine Dye with another steal. Since he's hitting I guess he feels better on the bases too.
  13. QUOTE(Jeckle2000 @ Jun 4, 2005 -> 02:57 PM) Why would you say this when you know there are people reading this who can't see the game? Did he really hurt himself? No, he's fine.
  14. QUOTE(Soxnbears01 @ Jun 4, 2005 -> 02:55 PM) not that bad. I enjoyed the convo between him and DJ about attendance. DJ backed us up well i think. Ya, I like him so far. He's not Hawk but he's doing fine. Anyways, Peralta with a nice play to keep the ball on the infield, infield hit for Jermaine.
  15. QUOTE(qwerty @ Jun 4, 2005 -> 02:39 PM) He hits 91-92 now when he use to throw 95 consistently. Three miles is a huge difference unless you are extremely good which we cannot say that much for vizcaino. He is surely not trevor hoffman or anyone or that ilk that has lost velocity and was still as good as ever. Yes but 91-92 is plenty because he has a ton of sink on his fastball he just has to use it more.
  16. Shatter shot there, 2 down. Pauly now with Scott, Tad and Frank hitting ahead of him is going to have a ridiculous amount of rbi opportunities.
  17. Frank's swing looks very pretty right now, short and quick there that was beautiful.
  18. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Jun 4, 2005 -> 02:39 PM) That was awfully slow developing, wouldn't you say? He took a good 3 steps, and didn't have any sort of quick release Ya, it was slow developing, I just think because he was running full speed he had to get his feet under him.
  19. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Jun 4, 2005 -> 02:37 PM) Pods catches it and forgets the guy is tagging? WTF was that He didn't forget he's just left handed so he had to get in position to throw the ball.
